It will be interesting to see how many researchers click on this entry smiley - evilgrin. No, there is no food producer daft enough to ruin the taste of green tea by adding these other tastes smiley - yuk. My satiric purpose here was to combine these "superfoods" in a very silly way.

Numi tried savory teas, mixing vegetables and herbs in tea bags.

Scroll down a bit to see the box. This is only one of their flavors.

Thanks, Evangeline. Something tells me that beets and apple would naturally be a good combination.

There were at least four different flavors. We had them at our store. I don't remember the other flavors, but one had spinach and another had radish, each mixed with other things. There is another brand that is doing fruit and veg and herb teas.

I haven't tried it. The numi savory teas were ok as far as taste. I just thought of it as broth instead of tea.

Bear in mind, my regular juice of choice was Carrot, beet, cucumber, kale, parsley, celery and sometimes added garlic.

Have you ordered any tea?

Not from that selection, no. I will soon need to order more wild blackcurrant tea, which I drink every day. I get it from an importer in Concord, Massachusetts.

I found a recipe for green tea which is made with chia seeds, blueberries, orange juice, lime oil and maple syrup.

That sounds pretty good. smiley - smiley

Chia is a form of sage or salvia. The sage that's growing in my yard has edible seeds as well. I might try eating them next Summer.
