Buses with rooms for rent, and subterranean warehouses for books (A Dream)
paulh, vaccinated against the Omigod Variant Started conversation Mar 10, 2010
Things had not been going well for me in this dream. I had no permanent home, and had to get by one night at a time in a room at the back of a bus. I went to meet my friend G,
who lived in a cheap room over a hat shop. I usually had to go to the back of the shop and climb the well-worn stairs to visit her, but today the stairs had been newly carpeted, and the bathroom on her floor was newly renovated. Alas, the shop itself was held up by robbers while I was up there. I called the police on G’s phone, but it turned out that the police were in on the robbery and wouldn’t help. In fact, I was now in danger and had to get out of the shop by the subterranean route that G knew about.
I found the secret staircase leading down to the escape tunnel, but accidentally got in with two thugs who were riding a sort of dumbwaiter much lower. I had to ride down with them, and found an immense warehouse that a major bookstore chain used for storing books. There was no way out except by riding back up with them. Unfortunately, halfway up, one of them pushed me out of the dumbwaiter. In retaliation, I pulled one of them down with me. We would have died from the fall, but we turned into butterflies in the nick of time, and escaped.

they say dreams are the sub conscious mind sort of cataloguing the days real life events ?? who knows the real reason for dreams!. But Paul my friend, you have some real doozies(spelling)as they say and to try to interpretate them, either serious or in humour is a conundrum in itself

Yes, that could be. Lewis Carroll asked us readers to figure out whether Alice was dreaming about the White King, or the King was dreaming about Alice.

Absolutely! And Alan Rickman thinks so, too.

Alan Rickman is a multi talented actor though and I like to see him in many roles as he doesn't just typecast himself in one area

When he made the first "Harry Potter" movie, there were critics who complained that he was too subdued as Snape. Nowadays, I don't think people can imagine anyone else in that role!
