(Surveys the biped librarian with regal, yet amused, interest)
If I can just remember what I was reading at the time... Perhaps this librarian may recall where I was...
(Reads name badge. Gently lifts arm to continue reading name badge. Replaces arm and moves around the back of the chair to cntinue reading name badge..)
To wake, or not to wake? To leave alone perchance to dream on...

Well it is a good thing that you have two then. Now, before you get all maudlin about the mere loss of a limb, can you remember where I was reading that rather rude book about 101 things to do with a stale baguette??

(Hears sigh and turns just in time to see her slipping out)
Hey, G !!
(Runs to door and looks out, just in time to see her robe flutter and disappear around a corner in the corridor.)
(Shouts) Go back to your brawny soldier boy then!! See if I care!! You'll come running when you need a real man!! Hah!
(Returns to Library, shuts door and leans back against it)
(To self, quietly) If she only knew how much I care!!
(To Librarian) Come on boy, you must remember me! Where was I??

(With affected nonchalance) Oh, hi. You're back then?
Don't suppose you would be interested in looking for some long lost dusty volumes right at the back here, behind these tall shelves, hidden from the view of the sleeping librarian?

I don't suppose you could stand on this ladder and reach that book right up there (pointing to the top shelf) for me? Please.
