Question for the moderators
Peta Posted Mar 29, 2001
The answers to all of the questions can be found on these pages. Where have the postings gone etc. They're all to be found here...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Moderation-Guidelines
Here's a clip, because I'm helpful like that:
All pre-BBC content has been hidden pending moderation, and this forms a second, 'legacy' queue. When there is no new content requiring moderation, the Moderators work through the legacy content. This means that all legacy Guide Entries which are not reactivated will eventually be moderated and (if they pass) made visible, and all pre-BBC Conversations will also be checked.
We're looking at legacy content in the reverse order of creation (for Conversations, that's the date of the first posting).
Anyway I'm unsubscribing from the older moderation postings now. We've posted comprehensive explanations/replies on all subject areas, and it's time to get on with running the Guide. (I'll of course answer new moderation questions on the moderation helpdesk and the community soapbox, I'm just leaving these long existing conversations and leaving you all to debate amongst yourselves for a while).
See you all out there!

Sorry about that. I'll just go and read that thread now. I was away at a meeting yesterday.

That posting contains a quote and is not a review of the work being quoted. Therefore, it should be moderated.

No - because copyright in the quote is owned by the BBC.
