Sounds great, Matt! smiley - smiley

Like you, I've got a badge for not really doing a project. It would have been a project if the uni had still been around at that point (I wrote them during its hiatus) so I feel like I ought to do a 'proper' one, but the only thing I can think of is a series of entries I'm writing at the moment (mix of contributing to h2g2 and helping with my revision smiley - winkeye) on Carolingian times, but its lots of separate things that don't really fit together. smiley - laugh

Great topic, Matt smiley - ok

Probably under ear, nose, and throat, but strepthroat and scarlet fever rears it's ugly head on a fairly regular basis. For the first 4 years of elementary school broe jr was sent home with a case twice a year like clockwork in the fall and spring.

Can you include in there somewhere, perhaps on the main page, a brief (or detailed if you wish) guidline on when antibiotics are required and when they will do no good? Doctors over here seem to prescribe them for everything which I think is way too much.

Good luck with it!

And I wouldn't worry too much about time, my current project is at over three and a half years, and it hasn't been published yet. smiley - winkeye

Hey broe smiley - smiley

No problems with those requests smiley - ok

I plan to put typical diseases that give off fevers in the fever section smiley - smiley

And in each section I plan to go over what specific treatments are given (like antibiotics) and in the as a parent section include information as to wha antibiotics are good (and not necessary) for smiley - smiley

But thanks for highlighting those, again if you think of things let me know, that way I can make these comprehensive, byut easy to follow. I;ve often found when I search the net for info there's loads of information vailable but it's either full of jargon or not really helpful in the way that illnesses can affect day to day life, or what kind of questions really SHOULD be answered smiley - smiley

I've kind of lost heart with this project as it's something that I can't really do at the moment in that it's such a vast area to cover. I'm thinking of changing tack once again smiley - laugh
