The Researcher formally known as Dr St Justin

Well, as it's a bank holiday again, there's no-one at h2g2 towers. So If no-one else starts the new thread, it won't be here 'til tomorrow.

Anyway, a big hello to all newcomers this week. Any problems, just ask someone. The ACE team usually have someone floating around (metaphorically speaking, of course!). Erm... I think that's it, except to say share and enjoy!

Oh yeah - the other thing was: have a good look around, leave a few posts in whatever forums take your fancy, and make sure you have something on your homepage! smiley - smiley

Hi!
thanks for the warm welcome. I've never had a homepage, but this kicks ass! I love this place! What an outstanding idea! I hope this will become BIG!

Sho - employed again!

Flaming Norah! I posted in the wrong bit. Ho hum.
And I'm not writing all that guff again. So, seeing as you lot have
a bank holiday today, while I'm working - is there something
stronger than coffee?

Don't worry Sho, I'll follow you here. Go to your homepage and click edit page then write something anything then the people who meet you in the newcomers forums can pop on over and say hello. smiley - smiley

Oh, and hullo and welcome to any newbies that might pop by this week. smiley - smiley Please, do remember to write those homepage introductions, or other researchers (such as the ACEs) won't be able to leave you messages.

DD, my hero smiley - smiley

*fixes self a cup*

Aster, you needn't worry that much about your introduction right now, you'll probably think of something incredibly smart and clever in time, but for now virtually anything will do. And it's not all that lame, by the way, I've seen a lot worse. smiley - winkeye
So, whatcha gonna do next? Actually, it depends on what you like. I personally think it's a good idea to browse more or less at random through other peoples user pages, guide entries, forum listings and so forth. I can almost guarantee that you'll be welcome to contribute to the discussions everywhere.

*just garbles up a fist full of cookies*

Hi folks!

I'm surfing the entries and having a GREAT time!

But I noticed, that none of my entries nor my email address are searchable. Is there an agent running weekly or what?

Thanks for the cookies! smiley - winkeye

I think it's something like that. New entries/email addresses usually get into the searchable index after a couple of days. smiley - smiley
