Does ANYONE know how it is decided which entries turn up as 'Most Overlooked'?

Doh! It's right back there again!!! smiley - sadface

(It's gotta be based on number of hits, or a formula derived from that number. Other than that: ???)

One has to wonder: Is this article gonna be the next "Learn How to Speak Klingon"? (By the way, did anyone else read that one? By show of hands, who even scans the "Most Overlooked" list at all? Anyone ever read something off of it, not including this article?)

Tashalls, Muse of Flights of Fancy (Losing Weight at A858170)

I go to Most Overlooked to see why they were "neglected". If they are interesting, I will post a comment to lend a hand in any efforts to get it off the list.

But I usually scan the entire right panel for any articles I haven't read yet, as I have diminishing hopes of reading the entire guide by section...

But, as I said earlier in this thread, I think with so many entries on the Guide, any of them could become candidates for Most Overlooked, surely, due to the sheer weight of entries and the lack of numbers of people looking at them?

ps - I avoided "How to Speak Klingon", as I could possibly be the only "anti-Trekkie" on the planet.

Not to say I don't like Star Trek, as I have never watched a single episode, movie or TV special - I am simply an anti-Trekkie by virtue of this avoidance!

Talking about somthing completely different - weight - did you know that you weigh less at the equator, and more the closer you are to the poles?

The gravity is depending on the distance to the centre of the earth, and since the earth isn't completely round, but a bit flatter at the poles, you are farther away, meaning less gravity, if you are near the equator.... it's not much (less than 1 kg, I think) but interesteing nevertheless...

*raises her eyebrows in slight surprise. notes that she has "gained" three US pounds since going to college quite a ways north from Hawaii, even though she coulda sworn that she was loosing weight...*

Interesting thing to know when your family keeps asking you if you've gained the freshman 15, 20 or 25+.

Anyone know what that calculates out to in US measurements?
