Good to see people enjoying the last of the summer. There is something about a late August day that would be so tranquil were it not fort all the hoohaa in the village over this fete, and the requirement to practise with the tannoy. Which reminds me, I must see about helping out at the beer tent or something.

Lovely chap so he is. Of the Yorkshire Outs. Sadly he has come down with the lurgy so I will be in charge of the beer tent. I've arranged some special ales for it too.

It is the finest selection of ales, produced by a new local brewer, Bimble Brewery. So new in fact that they have no names for the beer yet.
