welcome to h2g2
i assume you'd like help getting started with h2g2, so here are some tips:
first of all, click on "my space" on the left of the page and then click on "edit page" which should appear nearish the bottom of the new page, on the right.
in the box that comes up, write a few words about yourslf, or about anything else really, so that people can come and leave you messages on your space
when you've done that, click on "preferences" on the left of the page, and in place of "researcher 218308" type in a name you'd like to be called by. then click on update preferences, and you're all set!
one place you're almost certain to find a busy conversation is <./>Askh2g2</.>
and if you need any more help, just click on "h2g2 help" on the left hand side of any page or ask anyone
