I heard a rumour of an upcoming xbox/gamecube/ps2 h2g2 game. Don't know if brits HAVE xbox/gamecube/ps2 (I think you do), but can anybody clear this up for me?
P.S.: is there anywhere to download the H2G2 text adventure game:D:D? I know you can play it online without saving

secondly, i haven't heard anything about an h2g2 game,
and thirdly, there *is* somewhere you can play the text game online, i've done it myself, but i don't know the URL...have you tried doing a google search on it?

about the Xbox/gc/ps2 thing. I thought that they might be marketed under a less tacky name in britan (Xb and GC, mainly)

I think there probably is somewhere you can download it, although I'm not sure why.
As for the new game, I know there was a new 3D "Towel-em up" in production that DNA was helping to write up until he died. The game was continuing production as a tribute to him.
Unfortunately the latest news I heard was that it isn't happening any more , which is a real shame because it looked like a brilliant game. Phase 3 Studios (which were producing the game) seem to have closed their website, and the only good links I can find are:
http://www.insidemacgames.com/news/story.php?ArticleID=3720
and some pictures of it at: http://www.btinternet.com/~desiato/index.html
I hope that helps, and I'm sorry it's not better news!

I heard rumours that Hitman 2 and Grand Theft Auto Vice City is supposed to be getting banned, do's anyone know if this is true?

If you people are still listening, I've downloaded the text adventure game, and it's damn hard. I died about eight times trying to get out of Arthur's bedroom. If you want the game, go here:

You can download two versions of the game, the InvisiClues produced by Infocom and the walkthrough. But the version I downloaded already had the InvisiClues included, and you could access it by typing "Hint" anytime in the game. If you want to download the Java Version of the game from the Douglas Adams website, go here:
