Oop. Meant to say . .
i don't think it's exactly a "sorcery," in the, monotheists and most other organized religions thinking, "Sorcery=bad" sorta a way they tend to. I think it's more like a light kind of a what the academians might refer to as "sympathetic magic."
but tha's just me,

hey, I wonder if this brings up hypocrisy, but the thingofit is, personally associating self as both a Christian & somewhat of an animist threw up some existance, authority & establishment questions when I was younger. Most religions don't like to acknowledge veritableness of eachother. So...
Someone somewhere is going to go out of there way sooner or later to tell me that they think that I am going to 'ell in a handbasket (w/ a pretty little ribbon on the handle too. Don't worry;I'll make sure to send them back a postcard) Ha.ha. Y'know that it's also arguable that puting the authority upon oneself as to deciding who are worthy of being redeemed/damnation, out of context, all the time (when not just kidding), hmm... I won't say as to wheres I think they're going. All I'll say is maybe, "Isn't that playing God?" Which to extremists and/or literalists, might seem just as bad, if not worse. But groups of angry sounding people don't like to feel as though it seems as though they are being wrong/are wrong. They tend not to take it well. Look @ Jesus if you want or martyrs and the like from other religions also if'n ye want to.
"Can't we all just get along?"
"Um,...No!" Not exactly, I s'ppose.

Talk ing crap about whom or what may I(/dare I ) Ask?
Was it my meta-physics speculation that gotcha going? the original goal was of the thread (was it not) did mention something about..."be controversial." Of Course . I'm sorta a "gentleman" and somewhat of a "punk" @ the same time in real life. So wha's the big deal. Isn't everyone on the net s'pposedly ?

What is "normal" anyway? seems as though folks can only s'pposedly agree more or less (sometimes) on stuff that "isn't." Throw that one by me why don'tcha. Not meant to be takin' as an alltogether unfriendly sort of a challenge. Afterall thias is all s'pposed ta be in the style of a "friendly debate" so-to-speak, no?

Whaddya mean talk crap 'xactly?
[pauses]: I'm waiting.
I'm positive you've gotta really good reason for calling it tha' but unless ya tells us some of wha' it is tha' ya's disagrees w/ or dislike, then how are we s'pposed ta know's...'cuz we're jus' like tha'? I s'ppose, but seems a tad weak to me, and I'm not about ta go an' stick words into anybody's mouth . Of course ye have a right to disagree w/ or dislike certain things. (As of yet) none of us have contested tha' (and I don't really plan on, neither ).

Just wondering...by 'weirdo' do you mean everyone who has a differing opinion to you?
And I'm guessing, 'crap' means anything you don't personally believe in.
Correct me if I'm worng

An unspecifiable complaint does not deserve to count as a complaint.
A whine or an insult? Mos' likely a critique perhaps. Fine by me, (I guess), jus' don't do too much or don't be too surprised likes, when if not so many folks'll wanna e-chat w/ya.
an' don't go sayin'we didn't warn yas. Don't wanna hafta be the one to have to say I told ya so to people. Tends ta be, tha' it can get annoying. Not 'xactly my cuppa .

A good point. Pigeonholing is so often done in the negative.

A simulpost is when someone posts something at exactly the same time as you or just before you while you're typing your post. Often it says the exact same thing as what you said, so it sounds like you're just repeating what the person before you said. It causes some social embarrassment and people tend to use the smiley after they've simulposted.

So you felt you had to add your two cents worth of crap? You obviously have not been exploring the internet very much, there's a lot more crap out there that's far less interesting and/or entertaining than what you will find here. I'm sure you took the time to read all 25,000 posts on this thread as well as every post on every other thread here on hootoo before you drew this conclusion [lamo], and I can't imagine how many other sites whose postings you've trekked through [please, don't enlighten me, I couldn't care a pair of fetid dingo kidneys where you spend your free time-I can only hope it won't be here]. Get thee to an America Online chat room if you want some crap to whine about.
'Simulposts' shouldn't be embarassing nor should it require an apology. It simply means two individuals shared the same thought after viewing the same posting or thread. In a thread such as this one, where posts can stray and ricochet from untold edges of the universe, it's difficult to follow some of the short 'conversations'. 'Speaking' in icon-ese can make things difficult when you're not well versed in the meanings of all the icons. I think it's part of what makes the site interesting.
Have I left enough s yet to clean up the mess?
