yes. i believe his life could have been worse, but it is hard to imagine

allthough you might say that he has had a good run - at least some of the time

i freemantled his car to go see him and do some stuff in his house while he is away, but it is so cold i'll have to wait for the engine heater to kick in before i can get the thing started

i just returned from the hospital. he looked better than he has for a long time, in spite of weighing it at only 50 kilos. he has lost 36 since summer

he is not allowed to drink or smoke, but they gave him some nicotine and meds and he is okay with it for now

So there's a bit of good news in it.

yes there is. of course he is not overly happy, but on the other hand his friends are relieved that something is being done now

But he is still alive, so there.

the way things look he will be fine for some time yet, but the said he would have been a gonner if he had kept up his lifestyle for two more months

mm.. .. what a life

How does he feel about the options?

looks like he will try a comeback. seems he needed to hit rock bottom first
