Retirement at last - I hope...

So at long last I just MAY have been able to receive and fill in the correct forms so I can take retirement - starting 1st of March 2013
Now I can only hope to receive positive response from two pension companies and my unemployment agency (who for some odd reason may have something to say about this also)
I wish they would get their fingers or heads or whatever out of - er - wherever they keep them and send me a positive result as an xmas
Please cross your fingers or something else for me, eh?
PS: If we misinterpreted that Mayan stone I will not hold it against you so you can relax in whatever way you prefer

Surely you can't be hinting that Denmark has government bureaucracy and endless paperwork to be dealt with! Say it isn't so! My drab, wretched life is brightened only by the illusion that somewhere on the planet there is a wondrous land free of the snares and burdens that plague the rest of us. I thought Denmark *might* be that one place.
Anyway, good luck!

It's not that bad, paulh, but I guess no matter where you live there will always be one or two civil servants who very politely listen to your wishes on the telephone - and then send you the wrong forms
I do have this sneaking suspicion though that one of my pension companies is trying to delay paying me back my own money
Won't do them anything good, though. If they don't get it right this time I'm thinking of reporting the company to the police and then phone and ask for a statement to the press from the CEO. That should wake them up

Keeping everything crossed for you, . I really ought to start on my own paperwork in this direction. It's the paperwork that puts me off - and never being able to get an appointment at the appropriate desk in the town hall.

Good luck with everything, it's a bit daunting having to deal with so many
different official people.
One thing I've noticed since retiring is how quickly time goes by.
Blink and the days is over, so I'm getting up earlier and going to bed
later. Do we really need sleep I wonder?

If you take early retirment like I do you have to let your pensions companies know. If you don't they'll not start paying
