Thank you one and all. Muchly appreciated
re 43:
after 42 years (I kid you not!) in the news bizz I think I'm entitled to a few weeks without researching, writing, editing and the like. But in time I may indeed write a little something - or two - for the guide

1. Brew
2. Check HooToo, Fb and mail
3. Shower
4. and
5. Make table reservation for tonight's party
6. Lunch&Nap
7. Party

Retirement at last - I hope...
Sometimes I fear there won't be any retirement for me.
* lack of colleagues
* proposals from the responsible authorities to raise the retirement age. The last pensions prognosis I got suggested I should work to 68 or 69 to get full benefits.

I decided to leave for a good deal less than full benefits.
1. We may have more than one life, but I fail to see the evidence
2. I didn't want to die w*rking after more than 42 years on the labour market
3. I am of the last Danish vintage that can leave at 60 - I feel obliged to do so in solidarity with all those younger than me - including you,
4. Sadly I didn't make room for another employee, but I may have saved someone from being fired
There are lots of other reasons as well
