I'm popping in as one of the assistant community editors here, aka <./>ACEs</.>. We greet newbies such as yourself and familiarize you with the site, enabling you to get settled a bit easier. My colleague Feisor has compiled a comprehensive list of Hints and Links at A719840. Take your time going over that as well as checking out the various features in the process. Among the many other things you'll find the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313. Of course being a Canadian you're invited to join the Canadian Researchers' Club at A1037323. And you're entitled to add your nickname and location to the Researchers' Map at A5076614.
To meet and be welcomed by some of the other Canucks here you're more than welcome at our 'lounge'(for lack of a better word)- F19585?thread=252800&latest=1. Oh and I should also mention the photo galleryalbum started by azahar - http://public.fotki.com/azahar/h2g2_friends (as well as the corresponding conversational thread here - F119314?thread=421977&latest=1 ). But should you have any questions feel free to leave me a message using the 'Reply' button, ok. Bye for now and see you around, so to speak! *waves*

Thanks for the welcome! Haven't been able to come on for a bit--I had printer deadlines to meet. Hoping to get more time soon. Maybe. Someday.
