Today, movers picked up the ex's piano. And on saturday, he picked up his books.
So I have made the livingroom more mine, by rearranging the books and films in the bookcase, and shifting all the furniture (except the bookcases).
It looks good, it looks bigger.
Also, I have a surplus of two chests of drawers and a two-shelf low bookcase. Anyone need them? I can probably send them via SMS/txt message...
I also find that the knickknacks I kept on the chests, bookcase and piano were many more than I expected. But these, I will not txt to anyone!

Nothing like a change and a clear out for making you feel better. As for reclaiming your space I know exactly what you mean.
We have Freecycle groups in the UK and in America. Do you have anything similar where you are? It is a good way to recycle things you no longer need.
Hope you are feeling brighter these days?

Much better and brighter!
I'm going to call a charity, they pick up at home. And then they sell at low price and the income goes to charity.

that's good.
I am doing something similar with a load of old computer stuff. It is going to an organisation that trains the disabled to repair and use computers. I am so pleased that it will not be wasted.

I can always do with more bookshelf space so can you email it to me? Oh, hang on, I don't have a printer so that won't work!
I'm glad you're making you're space your own, milla, it can make all the difference. Stay

it has been interesting to see the changes my ex made when i moved out and looking at my own quarters it is quite obvious that it doesn't have much of a woman's touch
i guess there are at least 3 hootooers who can verify that
glad to hear you are brighter, luv
