Ok folks, grumbles have been grumbled about when we're going to get our into gear and have another Brum meet.
Well, most of us here are students and I'm just plain lazy 
but here goes - there will be a bigger meet sometime in the summer but in the meantime may I introduce:
The First Great Birmingham Pit-Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The idea is the day/night before nodnoL (10 July, remember, so that would make it the 
9th!) we have a get together for those setting off from these here parts or passing through on the way! Maybe take in one of the many free gigs of the Jazz Festival that will be going on at that time before

, , ing down to the big smoke!
I'll do a proper page...soon. Overtime this weekend though. Register interest here in the meantime

The nodnoL date's been fixed I'm afraid and I know you're otherwise indisposed that weekend...which is why we're gonna have another one just to ourselves later in the summer

It all depends where I am on the 9th. If I am in London anyway, (which is looking likely), then I will go to the London pre-meet, or *a* London pre-meet. If I am on the other side of the country, then Brum looks like a good idea.

I doubt it, I'd have to travel up there, then back here kind of thing I'll have to see though I'm trying to remember what te journey is on the train from here...

The second one? This, the first one, is the one the day before the London meet? That would be a bit silly for me to go too!, as I'd be travelling away from london, to come back the next day 
Well, I'm not in London, But Cambridge is an hour or less from Kings Cross on teh train
