Ahh, if you were to travel on teh same train as me, I can use my rail card, would get both of us a third off the price of the ticket! Well, that brings it down to 22 pounds I guess a bit more reasonable well, pressuming I've got my railcard by then

I'll have my young persons rail card again by then anyway so I'll have a third off anyway.

I think my current one runs out soon but as I'm in France it doesn't bother me at the moment!

The thing is if I came, I would as usual drag my bloke along too so that would be another train fare. You never know I might be able to borrow a car from my parents for the weekend again. Especially if they are off galavanting about the continent as they tend to when they get the chance!

Have you considered national express? they can be considerabley cheaper, and I'm sure somone would come and meet you at the coach station as easily as the railway station..

Ah, the Young Persons Rail card.... ah... what I'll do when I turn twenty six I don't know!

Hopefully by the time I turn 26 I'll be earning enough to not mind paying that little bit extra

As for national express, I've never actually used them but I can't stand coach journeys Though if it works out a lot cheaper I might be persuaded!

I hope that too, but I'll really miss not having a young person's rail card as well.. it's the final time that you're no longer considered offically young.

I'm already too old for a young persons railcard but only by one year (at the moment)

I've used the cross city line four times today, and they've checked everyone's ticket every time - fortunately I've got a pass..

well I look at it this way, I've already saved about £30, so I don't mind one £10 fine

I would do as well, when my communte just involved two stops on the cross city line I never paid ...

I rarely seem to pay when I'm going from CAmbridge to Kings X, they don't seem to have guards on teh train much anymore, and I've rarely time, or manage to remember to get a ticket at the station My evil plan is working for the summer meet: I'm beginning to leave an invitation on the personal space of every resurcher who has ever attended a London meet, and already two have signed up just a couple of hundred more invitations to do Call me a soppy romantic, but I can't bring myself to copy and paste an identical message in teh invitation to everyone, so each is written on teh 'hoof'

I'm probably on a course up in Bristol for a few days immediately prior to the bognor disco inferno I might as well sell my house; I seem to spend more time on the trains!

Ow do 'Fraid Friday nights are out for us, Nogbad works Can't do May either, But I'm up for it in principle so long as no one tells Great-Granny W, as she'd want us to stay with her, and Bromsgrove's too far (after a meet up anyway )
