We'll have to do something about the weirdness thing momentarily.
You mean someone gets round to closing this place?!?

...just wandering in absolutely randomly and with no idea of what's going on, but for the most appropriate purpose of putting off homework! and research! and my inevitable surrender to the realization that there's nothing in the waking world for me....
don't think i've been here since i was putting off my anthropology research last year.

All that theorising has made me feel quite
::pets the cat::No that's wrong, cat's the pet isn't it?
There something on my hand.

[Strokes Clelba, for lack of any fully collapsed wavefunctions to fondle...]
Will somebody get round to looking at that damn ?!?

i'd just like to say i'm only actually here because as i was avoiding my dog who is losing his mind i tripped over all the others who are still trying to find the time to open the door...nice place though...so since i'm here sign me up...do we need name tags or are we on the honor system?...since it's past my bedtime i'll just say t.t.f.n. and sweet dreams 'afore i toddle off...

You want name tags? You can have 'em.
Just don't expect anyone else to get round to doing anything about it, let alone wear them...
As for getting someone to sign you up, well as a relatively recent arrival myself, a word of advice, don't hold your breath!!!

[Looks at the cat in a sudden burst of willful observation]
[Cat's wavefunction collapses, revealing several scratchmarks that look suspiciously like they were made by talons]
[A thoughtful-looking owl twists its head round 180 degrees and dislodges some fur from its talons]
[A small, confused man with an accent on the 'o' mutters 'Back to the drawing board...' and starts setting up what looks like a light sensor connected to a gas cylinder]
Has anyone seen my name-tag?

Oh, no...
Come back here, you little hairball!
Honestly, you collapse something and /this/ is how it thanks you...

Oh oh... In that case, who's throat did I just ram my hand down?
Perhaps I acted a little bit too hastily...

Just remember where you are, dear. Act in haste, procrastinate at leisure...
