Totally turtles Hati dudette! I've been watching too much of my son's 'Finding Nemo' DVD!
*Snatches Pierce's pillow-shaped-like-a-pair-of-ladies-wotsits and places it under the sleeping Hypatia's head*

*enter bedraggled red-faced figure looking with a bold in da doze*
'ullo you too. Any ginger brandy about?
*Searches behind the bar for some buchu brandy to drink his tablets down with...*
Buchu = herb used to make medicinal brandy taste awful so you won't enjoy drinking it too much and make a habit out of it...

Well done Gwennie ... love the porpoises - can we have tortoises next month, I can keep up with them
Oh poor WR - I think the ... Buchu ... got tipped down the drain when the firemen were here ... Just don't breathe too hard ... you wouldn't want a round the bar with a cold
searching for an antiseptic wipe ...

Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer... Posted Oct 3, 2005
the fumes from the drain would fix any cold...

Is there any coffee in this place? If so I'll have two or three pots.
So, has everyone chosen a Halloween costume yet? I assume Pandora will be throwing a party as usual.

*figure appears completely cured of cold using copious amounts of buchu brandy diluted with an infusion of indigenous herb...*
Man! I feel good - I knew that I would now...

I always thought herbs were weeds
Just listening to Stairway to Heaven - forgotten how long it went on for - DJ must have gone to the lads room
Hyp - you best go to a bar - I don't thinkg anyone is thinking of soberism at present ... hunts around for bowl ... in search of much needed ...

I've got a black plastic bin liner that WR could wear over his head. It will double up as containment for his in der dose germs and as a Halloween cossie!
This place is rubbing off on me in RL - I'm drinking whole pots of fresh in the morning and then hitting in the evening (it takes the sting out of having to eat my own cooking!).
You would think that one would counteract the other...
They don't y'know...

... calls after Hypatia: "Don't forget to bring back some sp. rec. brownies - especially if there's going to be a party!"
please someone put in my bowl - I know it's a pain having a around that can't do it for herself

maybe we ought to install some of those semi automatic troughs like what they have in cowsheds
might come in handy not only for the now that i think of it

Shirps Posted Oct 4, 2005
a trough! a cow trough! for me! ... when have I ever behaved like a cow?
Couldn't I have something a little more civilised - like a water dispenser/drinks machine as they have in offices - I could push a button with my paw & new clean bowl falls down & is then filled with whatever I choose from some other buttons (all floor level of course )
I do agree though a cow/horse trough could be useful for some others ... I mention no names
gasping for a drink while discussions go on

sure you can have some sort of automatic dispenser with floor level buttons, only if memory serves there is a lot more in a trough than can be in one of them office machines, see?
