I need a 2nd Wife
Mostly Harmless Started conversation Aug 31, 2000
I need a 2nd wife. I love the one I have, but she just isn't cut out to be a stay at home mom. So what I need is a 2nd wife to be the stay at home mom and then my 1st wife can go out and be a career woman. We would have a second income to play with, vacations, luxuries, and more people to help with the kids and housework. It would be great.

Hi,
I think this sounds interesting, to stay at home and look after the kids, cook the meals and do a bit of housework. Sounds great to me, and with a second income I wouldn't have to worry about money, fantastic, you're on, I'll just ask my husband when I can go.

sounds good to me. So you live in Melbourne Australia, I've always wanted to visit Australia. It look likes a place I would like to live, at least on TV. I sometimes listen to the internet radio station Triple M, and I think Triple M is out of Melbourne, I know its out of Australia.
Thinking of your offer,

Yes Triple M is out of Melbourne during the day.
So where is it that we are setting up this interesting household.
And have you checked with you No.1 Wife first.

Well, I would need to check Melbourne out before I can commit. Is it a good place to raise kids? Do you have any children to bring to the family? Can we afford a place big enough to hold us all in Melbourne? Or would you like to come to the Southern United States? Or is there any where else in the world you would like to live? I'm flexable. I just want everyone to be happy or at least content.

Melbourne is a great place to raise kids. I've raised two already. No I wasn't considering bringing them, they eat like horses and don't contribute enough. One of the reasons I am considering moving out is that it is easier than pushing them out, I don't mind where I live but I would like to bring my dog. I can leave my husband and my kids and my home but I do not want to leave my dog.

You can bring your dog. I like dogs. What kind of dog is it? Personally I found that mutts are usually the best. I currently do not have any pets but I have had several, dogs, cats, bunnies.
There is roughly 9 hours difference between here and there, so when I get to work you are home already snuggled up in bed without me and when I'm leaving work you are getting ready to go to work.

Great, she is a red healer with long legs, a beautiful girl with red freckles all over her. And she loves men, she is a real hussy.
Its just on midnight here and I'm going to bed in a bout 5 min, I see you are still on line. If you would like I can put you in my dreams

I have a king size bed, I'm sure we can all fit. If you come this weekend it will only be the two of us plus the kids, my wife is going out of town to visit a friend. She is leaving Friday and coming back Sunday. Short notice I know.
A quick tangent, do you know who Steve Irwin is (aka The Crocodile Hunter)? He an Australian wildlife TV host and is the ?caretaker? at a zoo in ?Queensland?, he is very popular over here. We mostly think he's insane though. I was just wondering if he was a popular in his own country?

Hi,
Im glad the bed is big enough.
Sorry I can't make it this weekend, I am busy. But the airfares out of the country are very reasonable for the next two weekends. We could have had a good time.
Yes I know Crocodile Hunter, he plays to the youngest viewer, and we all roll around on the floor laughing. He is a dork, a very cute dork. No sensible Australian would pick up one of the ten most deadliest snakes by the tail or tease a crocodile with its lunch. We are still watching to see when he looses some body parts .

Hi Moondancer,
I wrote you a nice reply Friday night asking how you and your dog were and hoping you and yours was doing well. Then right before I hit the "Post Message" button my computer crashed,(cuss word, cuss word, cuss word, threaten to shot the sorry excuse for a computer, cuss word). I was most upset. Now my computer resets every so often. So now when I'm at home I'm trying to backup the important data, letters, pictures, etc., etc. between resets so I can reload Windows and all of my software.
I was disappointed that I didn't get to chat with you this weekend, I hope you were not disappointed not to hear from me.
What do you look like. I like to have a face with a voice, yes I hear a female voice with an aussie accent when I read your replies. If you wish I can email you a picture of me. I plan to put one on my H2G2 page someday.
Bye for now.

Hi Mostly,
Yes I was disappointed not to hear from you on the weekend but I thought you must have been busy, being the only parent. Weekends are busy for me, I live all week at my shop and if I'm lucky i get to go home on the weekend. My dog is very happy to see me when I come home.
Kumabear is painting a picture of me in his gallery, I think I am next to be painted, or I could send you my picture. You could send me your picture by email also. My email is [email protected] .
I have to work out how to put pictures on h2g2 also.
see ya

Kumabear is an artist he is on here, the picture is not yet finished but it should be soon.
Tell me about this second family we have, how many children are there what are their names and how old are they, and does your first wife mind you getting a second one.
I will look for you tonight

Hi Moondancer,
I just sent the pics again, it's 0800 here which means it's 2300 there. Good night, sweet dreams. I sent two pics, the first is one of the family, this was taken Dec. 1999, the second is of me, it was take yesterday.
Let me know when Kumabear is finished with your painting and where I can find it, I'm really looking forward to seeing you.
There are two children in the second family, Connor age 3 1/2 and Ashlyn age 19 months. Wife no.1 doesn't mind a wife no.2 as long as we don't have sex, she is very jealous of that, oh well.

Moondancer Posted Sep 19, 2000
Hi Mostly,
I have just been over looking at the photos, I also sent you one. I am very good with children at those ages. Actually I like them at any age. My maiden name was O'Connor, and I love the Irish names. I would not want to upset wife no 1, so just let her know that I would be available for when she wants a night off. But apart from that, I'll find my own fun.
I might have to get on to Kumabear and see what is holding things up, I'm getting a bit impatient myself
I'm on here till about midnight
See you around
Moondancer
