I need a 2nd Wife
Moondancer Posted Oct 3, 2000
Hi Mostly,
I had a good weekend to, fairly busy as all my weekends are.
I worked Saturday morning till 2.00pm, then we met two other couples and had lunch together, It lasted from about 3.30 till 9.30. If you make lunch last long enough you don't need dinner . Moreover, when you are having a great time why go home.
We stayed in the flat above the shop, and on Sunday, which turned out, to be a nice sunny day we went for a drive to see a friend. He is in jail, he got caught buying 13 stolen phones, he had a phone shop at the time and things were going tough, well they got even tougher. And he got 3 years for buying stolen phones, and there wasn't even a body in sight.
It was a great day for a drive, then we went home that night, and watched the closing ceremony for the games.
Because my husband doesn't work in my business any more, when he gets a rostered day off he spends it in the shop and I had a day off on Monday, so I did the washing and the shopping and the housework and was at the shop by 3.30, my day off is only a half a day .
I have to admit that I don't get to the beach very much, my husband is not a swimmer and he doesn't like the water, the bay doesn't have any waves in it much, just flat. My mother lives on an ocean beach we go to her place more often and I like to swim in that more. As kids, we use to spend all the summer holidays camping there on the ocean. That was a great place, miles, and miles of beach without anyone else.
Huggs and kisses for every one

3 years for just 13 stolen phones. That a little harsh or those were some awesome phones.

Hahahaha
It is a bit harsh, bad tempered magistrate. It is a learning curve for all of us, and it just goes to show that if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you could just be unlucky. They were trying to prove a conspiracy, a half a dozen dead head idiots in a garage bragging about nothing. My friend has an appeal in and hopes to have it reduced to 9 months that will get him out just before Christmas. He admitted guilt he did buy stolen phones but he just got caught up in the net.
Sydney does not want to give up the euphoria of the games. They had a holiday on Monday and continued to party. They had a parade for the athletes and continued to party on, 100,000 people greeted the athletes yesterday. Now today they are in Melbourne, we will see how many take the afternoon off work to greet them as they go past.
The sun is coming out it is our early spring, to tell the wattle it is time to open, 26, 27 deg this week. However, it will get cold again.
I will just appreciate it good weather as it happens.
See ya soon
Huggs and Kisses all around

Christmas in 9 months??? Isn't christmas Dec. 25, ours is in 2 and a half months. Well anyway, I hope your friend gets out soon.
It's good to have a parade for the athletes. Our athletes will get a national parade in DC or New York, then meet the President, and then thier hometown will have a local parade for the returning hero.
It's early fall here. We have had some cool weather, highs in the low 70s/upper 60s. It's now warmed back up to the mid 80s, still pleasent.
I think my kids or about to go through a growing spurt. They are eating like littles horses. They growing up and changing so fast. Just 3 and a half years ago my little boy was just a 2 and half pound primie (he was 9 weeks early) and now he is running around with more energy than a the local power grid.
Well, I have to get to work, (mixed feelings) so I will talk to you later. I will check back during my lunch break.
BIG HUG and BIG KISS all around,

Good morning Mostly,
Well it is morning here and a very beautiful morning it is.
My eldest son Mitchell was a premmie baby 3lb 4oz. I thought he was small enough, looked like a little skinned monkey, took me 6 weeks to get him out of hospital. He had a few problems that developed after but he just rolled through them, God has not given him a problem he could not handle, unlike his younger brother, if Andrew had, had some of Mitchell's problems he would have made life a misery. He is a big boy now 22 and every one tells me he is one of the nicest people you could know.
My husband called home yesterday and found a notice from the RSPCA (animal protection). Someone had reported that my dog was not being looked after, there was no one at home to feed her. And when I was home on the weekend I thought she was looking quite fat and healthy. My husband and I live at the flat above the shop during the week, but I had to assure the man my son lives at home and feeds the dog. Also the problem is we live on the side of the mountain and don't have many fences and she can get out of any chain or harness I put her in. And I can't bring her here because that would be cruelty. I am lucky I have only once had to get her out of the pound.
huggs and kisses for every one

Hi Moondancer,
My little premmie was in the hospital for 75 days and then he had to go back in to had a second surgery and was in for another 5 days, 80 days and 2 surgeries total. He is now a healthy and happy 3 and a half year old with no health problems. Now he's as wild as a march hare. (God I hope Tigerlily doesn't read this, being preg. and all.)
Some of those animal rights people can get a bit fanatic.
Well work has picked up, I'm accually doing what they pay me to do. We are finding little problems that the other company didn't fix before the systems were turned over or broke and did not tell us, those Dick Heads. But we haven't came accross a problem that we haven't fix yet. Well specking of work I guess I should get back to doing some.

Hi Mostly,
Yes the hardest thing is coming home from hospital without your baby, But I was back in to see him every day.
My mother came home without one altogether and she still greaves after 40 years. In thoes days you weren't allowed to cry over something you had not had for long, the nine months were not counted, she doesn't even know where she is buried.
Tigerlilly will get a lot harder stories by the end of her time than we would tell. .
My friend in South Carolina is 37 and pregnant for the first time and spends her time worrying. I have told her that what she has no control of leave to God. Worrying only gives the baby colic.
I'm writing this at night, and I'm a lot tougher and more cynical at night, I should leave my letters for the morning when I am a nice person.
Lots of huggs and cuddles and I will come back more pleasant tomorrow

Yes it was hard to come home without my baby. As soon as we got home and suitcase unpacked we went back to the hospital to be with him. We almost lost him several times. We even got the dreaded call "we don't know if he will survive". He got NEC, a bacterial infection of the bowels and that's what caused him to need two surgeries.
I hope no one tells Tigerlily any stories like this or worst.
Tell your friend to relax and enjoy her pregnancy and take care of herself. If she spends all of her time worrying then it won't be a pleasant experience.
Well, good night and pleasant dreams.
And good morning.

Good morning or evening (depending on when you get this) Moondancer,
The last time I got my eyes dilated was one moring before I went to work. It was a beautiful sunny morning. I walked out of the doctors office with my sunglasses on and was nearly blinded by the brightness of the sun. AAAUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! A suuny day and dilated eye do not go together.
Well I hope you feel better soon.
Mostly.
PS. I finally got my picture on my home page. WOO HOO!!

Hi Mostly,
I did notice that you had put your photo on. That is step one, then you move to doing other things, maybe music, who can tell where you will go to from here .
I had the people who came to look at the shop, come back again today, things are looking hopeful.
We went to the camping place on Sunday to look at the pop-top campers, If we are going to spend 12 months travelling we need a bit of comfort. I found a nice one that I like and it is a good price but it is too early we are not yet ready to buy it. We have to get the business sold first.
Things are getting busier, now that the Olympics are over, the country had gone back to work. And I am not joking, we are a bit inclined to stop work and watch sport. At least I did not try to run a business in Sydney, it would have been even worse.
Huggs and kisses all round

Hi Moondancer,
Music on my page huh, any suggestions, maybe some Ozzy "diary of a madman" or something by Led Zeppelin, Alan Parsons, or just maybe I'll use something by a local band that no one else has heard of. I like that idea, now to find out how to do it.
I hope your shop sells soon for you.
A pop-top camper, is that the one that fits on your 4x4 truck?
Well all good things come to an end, and the games are no exception. Here in the states everything was tape delay, so we knew who won before we saw the game.
I getting busier too, I am oncall this week so I'm logging on when I get home to keep an eye on the systems. Making sure the systems are up, the deamons are running, and the back ups complete. I nice to have something to do for a change, we were so bored for a while.
I plan to do some more painting this weekend, I plan to paint the front door, replace the locks, and put my gargoyle door knocker on the door. Hopefully there will be no oncall issues that I'll have to take care of and I'll get to do it.
Big HUG and big Kiss for you and yours,
Mostly

Hi Mostly,
My page collapsed today so I had to fix it up again. I added another picture. Tomorrow I will have to put some writing in so the painting is named. I have found a boy who is going to try and get me some music. I just have to think about what music I want, that is the hardest part deciding.
I'll see ya around give every one a big hugg for me

A collapsed page, horror of horrors. This happened yesterday, which is today for me, so it happened on Friday the 13th. do do do do do do do do (twilight zone music). With a full moon too. do do do do do do do do (more twilight zone music). What a pain to have to rebuild your page, I guess I need to make a copy of my and store it on my computer. When you find out how to add music let me know. I would like to add music too. Maybe something hard and loud, (I could make a reference to sex right now but I won't).
Do the Aussies have the superstitions about Friday the 13th that we Americans have. Friday the 13th being unlucky.
Work is really busy right now so I'll talk to you later.

Hi Mostly,
It doesn't hurt if your pager collapses occasionally. Makes you get in and fix some things up. I have added a few more pictures, and I entered another poem, and I'm going to do some rummaging around to see what else I can find. I'm still working on the music, I want to get it with out copyright but I want good stuff. I am amazing my self how much i am learning about building a web page and positioning things (and what I have not learnt yet).
It’s fun when you have got the time.
We had the prospective buyers come for a talk tonight, and to look over the profit and loss statement. They are still interested, and they look the type of couple who will be good at this business. They are very into marketing, which is where I fell down, and the young mans parents are printers so he knows about this type of business.
Fingers crossed and everything else that will cross also
Huggs and Kisses to everyone

Well, It looks like the upgrade got pushed off till next weekend. I guess I'll be painting the front door this weekend.
Good luck on selling your business, I'll pray for your success and keep things crossed for you. (OUCH!! I guess I shouldn't have crossed that. )
The kids have the flu. They are doing alright, they have plenty of energy and are in a good mood, but have some diarrhea.
As far as music on your page, what if you give written credit to the artist, free advertising. I doubt they would mind.
