Hi Mostly,
I laughed at the commercial you described. I though that was soooo funny, I will have to ask around and see if I can get a copy. FedEx doesn't advertise here in the TV much any more.
I am a FedEx agent, and he would not have got the anti-venom fast enough any way. And we make all our own. And he is such a dork you have to just have to laugh at him anyway. You should see him feeding dead chooks to crocodiles.
Time is going so fast, the year is disappearing, Christmas will be here in no time, I don't know where it all goes to. I got told I am having Christmas at my home this year. That is another reason to be out of the business before then, and the fact that we have 2 weeks holiday booked for the first two weeks in January. We have a time-share unit in NSW and for the first time ever the two weeks have come together and in a good time, so we are going to take them and not rent them out, we are really ready for a holiday.
Must get back to work I have to gat any outstanding money before we sell, or we will miss out on it.
In the scheme if things is it going to matter at all who gats the final conclusion in this election, we have the problem too sometimes when two parties are so close then neither really has control and it a full term of wrangling and fighting. If their was half as much energy put in to trying to achieve something worthwhile in the time they were in power rather than every one nitpicking over incidental and unimportant matters, the country would go ahead in leaps and bounds. Instead either party bickers all the time to try to stop the other achieving anything. Well that is how it is here. And that is my political bit for the day
I'm glad you your baby girl is better, how is Connor is he better too?
Huggs and kiss to all

Hi Moondancer,
Have you got your Christmas shopping done? HO HO HO
Accually the President is just a Diplomat, a figure head. The real power is in congress and shared by so many people that its really hard to get anything meaningful done.
I'm glad the race is so close, maybe the next election more people will get out and vote. We only have 60% turn out of registered voters. (but then again maybe that's a good thing)
We will be going to my parents house in Nashville, Tennessee for Christmas. I am soooooo looking forward to it. I have most of my Christmas shopping done. Just a few more and those will be gift certifices.
Everybody over here is healthy and being your average two and three year olds.

Hi Mostly,
No I have not done a single thing about Christmas, I am too busy preying that the sale of this business goes through and we will not be in here at Christmas.
Except that I have invited this lovely old gentleman to have dinner with us. He is a man who has been coming to see us most of the time we have been in the shop and his wife died last Christmas. So I thought he would be having a very lonely time this year.
We don't have a very big family, Garry is an only child so there is only his parents who we generally see the weekend before Christmas. They have the day with an aunt. And I have my mother and sister and our sons. My brother is never around and his family is a bit estranged, or you could put it his ex wife is a bit strange. So I mostly organise Christmas in the last few days

Hi Mostly,
I am sorry it has been so long since I have talked to you. I have had a rather difficult week or so. You know how I am trying to sell my business.
Well there is a couple interested and they put in their offer in on Wednesday, it is 1/3 of what we asked for, and more than half of what we require.
The Australian head office of the franchise have told the biers that the amount they offer is fine, and we have heard that if we don’t accept this obscenely low price we will be closed down with nothing except a big debt. Don't ask for my comment about people who come from overseas to cut off toes and heads.
So between talking to lawyer, adviser and others, we have decided we will take the kick in the teeth and go. And to make matters worse the franchise intends on taking their 1/3 of what we get for them selves. Since they dropped us in the poo and wont allow us to get out of it if I have to pay them they can have it at $5.00 a week for ever.
The one good thing, which is a very big good think is that we will be out of this black hole of a business. And we will be able to get a life back.
Hope you had a great thanksgiving,
I think it was yesterday wasn't it?
See ya soon, and I wont leave it so long again.
except when we go on our holiday

Hi Moondancer,
I'm sorry you're a bad week. If the corporation insists that you take the small offer, just make sure that you pay yourself an insane amount of back pay (For all that time and work that you didn't get paid for). That will help you soften the blow to your bank account and give you a little revenage. The debt will be the company's not yours. Make sure that you check with your advisers and lawyers about you getting ALL of your "back pay".
Yes, ThanksGiving was yesterday. It always falls on the forth Thrusday of Nov. We went to Wife #1's mother's house for Thanksgiving Supper (it was a supper this year instead of dinner). I ate way to much. We will be going to my parents for Christmas. YEA !!!
You are leaving on your holiday in ?March? and how long will you be gone?
I have an yahoo e-mail account now, so I also have Yahoo Messenger on my work PC. If you have Yahoo mesenger on your PC look for my account "david_lca" . I wanted to have mostly_harmless for my account name but it was already taken. Don't they know that I am Mostly harmless.
Talk too you later. I have to get back to work.

Hi Mostly,
I won't be able to pay my self, I will have enough trouble paying the ones that have to be paid like the rent, and the suppliers, and the lease payments on the office equipment. I will put the corporation on a $5 a week but I cant do it to the others. they have stood by us when we were going bad and waited for their money.
And our big holiday will have to be put off until all the debts are paid off which will probably be a couple of years. We have a timeshare unit which comes available on the 29th December and for the first time both weeks are together. It is on the southern coast of NSW. If you look at a map of Australia, draw a line straight from Canberra to the sea, and that is where we will be. It is an absolutely beautiful coast, the weather will be great, it always is there, and we will just relax, lie on the beach, fish, swim, eat oysters, they grow wild there. And just generally recharge our selves.
I will be just so pleased to be out of it. Since Christmas is at my place this year I will be able to get a few things done before then
got to go work is coming in.
huggs and kissed to all

Hi Moondancer,
I hope you have a great time at the beach. Its summer down there, isn't it? Bikini weather. It's fall here, we have had some cold weather. It's leather weather, which can also be fun.
Talk to you soon.

Hi Mostly
are you still on here, and do you leave your messenger on all the time even when you are not around?
I have not warn a bikini since I had my children, besides I think bathers give you a much better line and you are less likely to loose the top in the waves. hahahahaha.
I don't suppose you have any snow yet for me to hit you with. But the leaves should have fallen and I love walking through the leaves and kicking them, if they are not to soggy.
We went to a discussion on 4 wheel driving last night, and they talked about all the places we could go to in Victoria, there are a lot of places I have not been to yet. So even if we cannot go on our big trip yet we can do a lot of small weekend trips, and get use to driving a 4 wheel drive.
Huggs and kisses to everyone
They had some great photoes of places these people had been, I would love to take you there
Ok I will see ya soon

Hi Moondancer,
I do leave my messenger on but, I set the status to "not in the office". I think if the connection resets it also resets the status back to "I'm available" even though I home asleep in bed. Tecnology, its a wonderful thing. I guess I'll start turning the messenger off when I leave. Sorry
We have had snow!!!! But the ground was too warm to stick, all the snow melted as soon as it hit the ground. It was very pretty and it didn't mess up the streets. The prefect snow.
I don't know if they sell the Hummer (the US amry's new 4x4) in Australia, but if they do and you can afford one, they are the best 4x4 around. They come from the factory with the snorkle so it can cross rivers and it can climb a 60 degree grade. It's almost indestuctable. There is also a civilian model that has more of the creature comforts.
And what is wrong with loosing your top in the waves??

Hi Mostly,
sorry I am slow at getting back to you, It is not a good time at the moment.
At the moment the sale day for the business looks like 15th January, although I would like to closer 23rd December and not have to come back after christmas.
These people are getting everything their own way, messing us around for 3 months and then say that they don't want it till after new year.
They are getting it at rock bottom price, and demanding items that are ours and we were trying to use for negotiation. And then insisting on taking another month, which between you and me is another 10 thousand in rent and lease payments.
Well I will have everything I possibly can sold, there will be NO stock it will go and I will remove all my brain work off the computer. Any one who thinks they can go into negotiation with others and believe they can take all the win win and give all the lose lose, might find even the nicest people have trouble leaving without giving at least a little kick back. They will find that opening in January is a dumb idea because all the suppliers will be closed till the end of January. If they had been anywhere near reasionable with us we would have made sure that they had enough to carry on with.
It also means we miss our holiday at Batmans Bay after Christmas, no floating top in the waives . But my sister is doing a tour to Tamworth Music Festival, late January so we will go on that. Shut the bloody doors and work out if we have to. We have got to get away it is sending us mad.
See you soon

Hi Moondancer,
Sorry you're having such a hard time with selling your business. It sounds worst then selling/buying a house. I'll keep you in my prayers.
If Australia didn't get rid of all its civilian guns, I would tell you to go to a gun range and blast a few targets. It's great fun and a good stress relief (using only non-living targets).
Get back to you soon.

Moondancer Posted Dec 4, 2000
Hi Mostly,
I have to laugh at that, even shooting targets doesn't do a lot for me.
I use to get on my bike, take the dog and ride the bike tracks, but she is getting too old to run with me now. So what we do now is go to the lake, walk around it, talk to the ducks, and the geese and the swans, feed them a little bread and throw the ball. It is amazing how much stress you can loose talking to a dog and talking to ducks.
Don't worry about me, I big concern is that these people have messed us around for all this time and they can't even find the pittance they are offering to pay for the business.
I went to look for the New Smiley faces because I think there is a duck there. But I could not find them. So I will just have to use the ones I remember. Huggs and kisses all round

Hi Monndancer,
The way I like to relax is to take walks in the woods, drive on a winding country road, or go to the gun range and blast a few targets with my Colt 45.
I hate it we people talk big and make you jump though hoops to make a deal when they know that they don't have the cash to make the deal. It's grounds for justifable homicide, I say. It happened to me when I was selling my condo to buy my house.

Hi Mostly,
I have had a very busy weekend, We had the No 1 Husbands work Christmas party on Friday night, A quite a swish affair, dinner suits and after 5 dresses. I was very happy that I had got my self a silky top to wear with my long skirt, it was a very slinky thing showing miles of cleavage, which I was very pleased about because the others were there showing a lot more, bare backs bare midriffs, mine was very tasteful. They had the party in the converted warehouses by the river, when it is finished the river section will be a very interesting part of town. Very nice meal, unlimited drink, and even dancing, that was a good night.
Then on Sunday we had the one for my business. Even thought I am selling I felt it was the opportunity to say goodbye to the friends we have made in the group, that was good in a different way more comfortable and friendly, a BBQ lunch and just sitting around and talking with friends.
The weather has been great, 30deg days 20deg evenings, very comfortable
all around
and a bunch for 1st Wife

Hi Moondancer,
Sounds like you had a great weekend and I like the way your dress sounded. I love cleavage!!! Seeing cleavage is also good for a man's health. It's a fact, really.
Well, I only have to work one more day. I am on vacation starting the 13th though the end of the year. I won't be back to work until the 2nd of Jan. 2001. I won't be taking my laptop with me, since the display is broken and I have to have a monitor to be able to do anything and I don't feel like draging around a 17in monitor. So I won't be logging in while I'm gone. We are going to my home town of Nashville Tennessee for Christmas with my family. So if I don't talk to you before I leave, Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Hi Mostly,
I saw that report, it said that men who watch women's breasts live longer, something to do with making the heart beat faster and the blood flow. But I think it was just to prove they weren't already dead, as in sixth sense "I see dead people". .
I am glad to hear that you are going on holiday, have a great time have a drink and think of me. It is really good to get with family at Christmas, without them Christmas loosed its meaning. Or maybe we just loose our joy.
Give my love to all my other family and all I can give them is the wish for lots of and plenty of and with piles of fun K:0. But try not to overdo it or you will end up and and you will have a and then I will .
Lots of Love
