Fabbo Entry, just one thing ... that's not the song Kenneth Williams sang on Parky. Details of his 'Crepe Suzette' can be found on the online Williams Bible (bottom of the page):

http://www.stopmessinabout.co.uk/Car-TV-70KWShow-Guide.htm

I couldn't find the lyrics anywhere, but there weren't any English words in it - it was just a hotch-potch of random French words sung in an outrrrrrageous accent, with each verse ending 'Ma Crepe Suzette'.

there are two versions of the song, and yep, the one I mentioned in PR was the one with all french words, however I feel a video of an Audience with Kenneth Williams / a full screening of parki is the only way to transcribe those lyrics.

I also can't find any rambling sid lyrics either. Damm all the Kenneth Williams net-obsessives for not being at obsessive

Yeah, I was surprised - maybe all the really maniacal Williams fans have other ways to communicate with each other.

'fraid not. We're not allowed quote huge chunks of songs or sketches, due to copyright restrictions.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

If we can post it here without restrictions perhaps you should add it to the entry's forum, Jon.

You can't post it here without restrictions. It's just that nobody has reported it yet.

So, are the lyrics actually copyright?

we can use tbout 4 lines in the entry, so hopefully somebody can stick 4 lines into the entry before it gets yikesed

But would they want to? I don't think they'd improve the entry at all.

That bit of it needs fixing one way or the other: either keep Kenneth Williams and have a bit of this song, or keep the song that's currently there, but correct the idea that it's the one he sang on Parkinson.

I'd vote for the first. I've never heard of the other song, whereas this one stirs very fond memories.

Then it should be this four lines:

Anis Sior, Que Alis Pansonori?, Faut t'jour, Reconnaissance
Hamersmith Palais De' Dancer, Badinage, My Crepe Suzette.
Double Entendre, Restaurant , Jaques Cousteau, Yeves Saint Laureate
Ou est la plume de matante?, Cest la vie my Crepe Suzette

But we'll have to correct the spelling. Here's my guess:

Anis Sior, Que Alis Pansonori?, Faut t'jour, Reconnaissance
Hammersmith Palais De Dancer, Badinage, My Crepe Suzette.
Double Entendre, Restaurant , Jaques Cousteau, Yves Saint Laureate
Ou est la plume de ma tante?, C'est la vie my Crepe Suzette

Anybody any advance on that? Much of it I can't recognise.
