Yes Clive, you can change the colouring - where it says yellow and where it says orange. Just test it by typing in other colours and see what happens - always preview it by using the option on the edit page, in alabaster and goo - that way you can see what it looks like.

If any probs and you want a certain colour and cant get it - let me know and I will look up the hex number for the colour for you. It is easier though to stick with the colours you type in.

I have forgotten where the piccies are kept at the mo but if you have trouble finding the pages where they are kept enter blobs in the search and you'll find em.

If you have trouble reading the coding cos you are not yet into HTML or GuideML - then get back to me and I'll try and explain further.


BTW try the goo option in the preferences - the site will look a lot better to you.

Most of the old posts are hidden as unmoderated. With the new BBC h2g2, everything has to be checked to make sure it does not break the terms and conditions. I think it will be years before they have all been read and released.

Wow, I was remember-ied!! It's a shame the old forums aren't posted yet..........as I recall some were very long but sooooooooooooo funny. I have actually done my own webpage ( ok a cheaters one sort of) but I'm afraid to put the link anywhere for fear of being chucked in a very un-fun manner. I rather hope to stick about now....but this time I'll actually TRY to write some guide entries!! You can put a link to your website on your own home page (No Probs) as long as the site doesn't break any of the Guidelines set out in the terms and conditions.

IE Offensive or blatant business advertising.

No links to outside websites should be made on forum - it gives the Towers too much of a headache checking them.

My little place is shaping up (just a little so far) as I try out all the codes and I even got the links to my page to work!!
