*runs around like *
So... mother is turning 70 next week and doesn't want to spend it at home (doesn't thrive on attention) so we've decided that I'll look for a last minute trip to Badgastein again (Austrian Alps).
Only... this time brother and 6-year-old-nephew are coming too, we've rented an apartment, and brother is going to drive his car down to Austria, we're not flying. Which mother doesn not know - it is to be a surprise, see...
So... brother offers to drive mother to Stockholm (where the 'flight' is leaving from, 'like last year') - and she declined, because she'd have to cook last minute - 'can't have them come here and NOT offer home cooked food' as she told me!
Frantic phone calls between washing laundry, buying birthday present, changing money, getting a hair cut - and definitely time to catch up with backlog!
We're leaving on Thursday, no Internet cafés in that sleepy, tilting little Austrian village (oh, maybe the big luxury hotel, come to think of it, but it wasn't cheap, as I remember it).
Have a great summer all! As I hope I will - once we've managed to pack mother into the car without revealing too much ahead, I hope...

Hi Titania
Have a breather - and a .
Enjoy the trip in spite of all the pre-chaos. Eventually you'll be able to sit an procrastinate with a view of a mountaintop - I hope.
Safe and fun journey.

climb the mountains. at least take a walk so high that the air gets so thin the only sound carried to your ears will be of distant cowbells

Quite an adventure
Take also care/time for your own emotions.
Greetings, Alfredo
