i'm afraid I'm not the tanning type, and have to stay out of the sun or I go bright red. Thats why I brought my parasol to the beach.

I made a silly mistake which people have, understandably, got very cross about.

Well, I kinda joked that the reason that Emmy won the bikini competition last year was because people from Floor 42 cheated, and sabotaged the vote. Kinda in the same way that DD & Joanna joked that Peregrin & I cheated to win the H2G2 elections. As I found the accusation of cheating amusing then I assumed that Emmy etc. would too, but they were offended and thought I was being serious. Which was my fault - I didn't word it as well as I could.
So a few people got upset and angry, rightly so, and I'd just like to say that I did not intend anyone to get upset or angry, had no intention of offending anyone, and perhaps foolishly, had not forseen the possibility that anyone would be offended.
