Andrew got a certificate in the post this morning confirming that he's passed his first year college course (Level 1 NCFE in Exercise Studies: applying the principles of a training programme, demonstrating an understanding of safety factors relating to exercise and understanding the principles of exercise and fitness)
He'll now be signing up for Level 2 commencing in Sept unless the Fire Brigade do a recruitment drive

thanks all. yes, i am truly grateful. given my personal history nothing but nothing ever indicated that i would one day have kids that would turn out like this 
i suspect them to be mutants
