I'm watching the Westlife concert from Manchester on E4.
Hubby was so disgusted when I turned over from the that he's walked out.
Oh well, it's and getting dark......
Should I be worried, or is this little-boy syndrome showing through?

Er ... in which direction would you have gone if the reverse had happened
Ulp .... put down that rolling pin THIS INSTANT - you're supposed to be watching a concert on the telly
Um ..... is there room for another wee telly in a bedroom?
Ah .. might lead to and with rather than all round
Sorry, I didn't suggest nuttn'. I ain't on nobody's side - honest missus

Turning the off and putting on WESTLIFE?!? Sorry, AGB, but in my book that has to be grounds for divorce. If that isn't intolerable cruelty, what is?

turning off the I can cope with, but Westlife??????? Now AC/DC, that's another matter
Seriously tho' that's just the kind of thing we used to have after years of us both living on our own and in full control of our remotes. It could get to and at dawn

You know, this is quite sobering. I've decided that it's time there was some in my life, and have joined an online dating service. I am suddenly glad that I wore my Bradford City scarf in the photo I submitted to the dating website. Hopefully it'll make any potential suitor realise that, while I'll compromise in most areas, some things are sacred.

Fortunately H isn't much of fan, more a rugby one. But as we don't have any of the cable sports channel, there isn't too much to watch.
I am sorry, GB, but I think even ~I~ would rather watch than Westlife!
It looks like you will have to find some common ground over the channel thing though if you don't want every weekend to be a battle ground.
It is relly tough learning to live with someone when you have spent so much time on your own. H and I are still getting used to it 12 years on!

At risk of being accused of interfering
Buy a lot of
Might be going in sales. Leave it lying around. One of you will blink first and pick it up.
You know it makes sense (deep down - drattit!)

Not that I care that much about TV or anything that's on it these days (*especially* sports of *any* kind! ), but when there's another TV in the house, and I wanted to watch something other than what someone else is watching (not just the hubby, but the kids as well), I'd go watch it in another room.
I know that sports fans tend to be a little on the rabid side though...
Are you two speaking yet?

Hmm, well, maybe it was the lack of give and take that he objected to. did he come home again?

Maybe his becoming a father has softened his mind.
He should remember the disaster when they tried to get the summergames to Amsterdam
