ive finally made it. i have had a long and illustrious career around famous people. i saw dave gorman once *in the street*. i *brushed passed* ricky gervaise. i was once *politely tittered at* by jane asher in the national portrait gallery. *one of my friends* once saw england footballer wayne bridge in a drinking establishment in my home town. but now, i have moved to dizzy new heights in alpha list super stardom stakes. for i have ***received an email*** from new york art pop troubadour jeffery lewis, a man made innocuous by a couple of barely low-key album releases. yes. only, he wasnt sending the email to me, but to the former editor of music at glam society mag the oxford student, a post to which i have just acceded.
i feel so blessed.

When working in London I once sat next to a guy on the tube who may well have been the standup who played Bill Bailey's lookalike in one episode of Spaced.
On the other hand he may well not have been. But that didn't prevent me from punching him in the eyes.

I was driving alongside Stephen Frost in a traffic jam all the way along Bayswater Road, round Marble Arch and down Park Lane. It took about an hour
The odd thing was that he was driving a 20 year old red Volvo estate that looked like it was held together by rust. I mean, the guy is a successful comedian, he can easily afford better than that.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Sep 20, 2003
I used to know the sister of the drummer in Echo and the Bunnymen - the bloke who was killed in a motorbike accident
I also spent some time doing various little jobs for someone who got to 'die' in Sigourney Weaver's arms (Alien 3)
But more than that, I have a friend who was on a certain cheesy record from the 70s A845011
