I'm still watching 24, GB and it looks as if Sherry will finally get what she deserves. I don't watch the episode on BBC3 straight after as I can't take the strain of all the tension.

Gwennie Posted May 26, 2003
It's that tense, hey? Perhaps I should have made the effort to stay awake and watch 24's new series...

Sho - employed again! Posted May 26, 2003
Oh, Kevin Smith... he was gorgeous. And how to leave 3 such little children.
I didn't watch Sharpe, because I was watching that thing about the Politician (after Born and Bred) on BBC1.
Sone damned fine male-totty in that, starting with the politician (sorry, bad bad bad at names) the journalist (older) and the very very slurpy new young journalist. another who is probably young enough to be my son... oh, I can swap him and -boy for the ol' man....
mind you, after the weekend we just had, sans , I shouldn't complain about the ol' fella at all.
anyone interested in my slashfic in the Stargate universe... I have a new one out in my series (part 4, I promise faithfully that this will be the last ... at least until Season 7 starts....)
it's archived here: http://www.area52hkh.net/author.php?name=Major+Clanger
and if anyone is interested in my LOTR slash (not at all naughty, in fact nor is the Stargate stuff if you miss out part 2) it is archived here... worth a look to see Legolas watching a Clanger (don't ask)
http://www.wozupdoc.net/clanger.html
in fact that whole Elf on a Shelf site is worth looking at, if only to see the disturbed people I hang out with online when I'm not here doing the stuff!

ok, I finally got the DVD of The Fellowship of the Ring.
OH MY! it's fab. I had completely forgotten how fab it is. And, of course, lots of boy to letch, not to mention Aragorn and Sean Bean (I listened to the commentary, and all my knicker elastic spontaneously combusted, even the ones doing the rinse cycle in the washing machine! - my new nickname should be "sho - knickerless and unrepentant")

I kind of envy you, Friendly. I've already seen the finale, and now there's nothing more for me to see.
I'm just talking about no more Buffy here, in case anyone's worrying that I've gone all Dark Dungeons and I'm going to top myself because Buffy has ended.

Sho - your knickers are spelt wrong !!
I had an amazing experience with a real person the other day. Till I heard about the guy's reputation from my colleague (the joys of small town living)

I'm trying to get into FireFly... it didn't help me over-recording the first and second episodes!

s TC and fwt
My daughter got burgled on Wednesday night. The s took all their DVD's, along with Laura's purse, chequebook & credit cards.
I had lent her my "About A Boy" DVD so in a way I was burgled too.
I hope the toerags burn in H*LL!
Sorry, rant over.
My "The Deep"entry is on the front page today.
Monday's Enterprise was very good, the Borg were in it, it was a follow-on from the film "First Contact", if you missed it and can catch the repeat on Saturday, WATCH it!! You won't be disappointed.
Sorry you can't take the tension of 2 lots of "24" Caerwynn, I can I've already seen this week's BBC2 episode
I am still watching Buffy from the beginning, on Sky One at 6pm, so I won't read the spoilers
Who watched the divine Harrison Ford last night, in "Seven Nights, Six Days" with the very, very lucky Anne Hesche, *so jealous* - and even David Schwimmer {Ross in Friends} was in it
double
My kitchen is all plastered and I can start painting soon!

Thanks, TC, my knickers are fixed (sort of - I'll be listening to more of Sean Bean tonight, so I suppose I'll have to wear long johns to work tomorrow!) How's your Ascension Day going? We're enjoying lovely weather, although poor ol' Man is working non stop (he's been there since 7am)
GB Sorry about your daughter that is really really bad.
Prophet, you nearly gave me a heart attack then! I was about to try to contact White Hart to check up on you!! You know you could always fill your Buffy-void with Buffy-fic.
I spent a nice morning in the playpark with the gruesomes (playing with my notebook, which was fun) watching the volunteer fire guys cleaning up their truck and their "fire station" oh boy, I love those guys, especially the barechested-wearing-the-fireman-trousers variety.

Coniraya Posted May 30, 2003
My sympathies to GB's daughter too. It is a nasty experience.
I thought Enterprise this week was one of the best, if not the best. No pecs though
I don't like Faith, her voice annoys me, Buffy is far too whiney. But Spike is still wonderful.
Haven't caught up with Angel yet this week.
I'm missing Scrubs already, it was so funny.

Ohhh Tef I'm always surprised when people read that stuff.
Part 4 (the final) will be finished any day now (thank goodness) then I can get down and dirty with the next two. Poor ol' boy!
Any on tv this weekend?

The repeat of Monday's Enterprise is about to start on Sky One!
You'll not be disappointed
I've seen a pic of Brad Pitt in his ancient Greek get-up on the film set of "Troy" phwoar!!!
Can't wait for that to be released!
Ooh, lucky Sho, getting a free show of half-naked firemen getting all soapy and sudsy
Blimey, Meatloaf's songs {and videos} have that effect on me too! Maybe it's the "Indiana Jones factor" eh
We need a smiley.....~thwack~
to watch Enterprise

You can call me TC Posted Jun 1, 2003
The long-awaited smiley would be handy in this weather - never mind the My son's friend is here at the moment.
I must be mad - Son No 2 fancied lasagne for lunch and I rummaged in the freezer and found a bit of mince and a bit of salmon and made 2 lasagnes for lunch. Even though he KNEW I'd bought steaks for dinner. No one's going to want them now. I just can't think straight when that friend is here - he is so gorgeous and such fun and so nice to me. (always enjoys my cooking, anyway!) Those 2 crazy guys went down the lake for a swim last night at about 10.30 (skinny-dipping as far as I know - phwoar again) and came back and slept on the lawn. After making a terrible din getting sleeping bags and stuff.
Apparently they must have drunk quite a bit - my husband says they couldn't even speak this morning, they were so befuddled. *sigh* you're only young once.
Have had a nice weekend. Went and saw Matrix reloaded on Friday night and after a couple of interesting events today (Sunday) - people I know making music - we had a stroll into town and sat outside and ate ice cream. It was like being on holiday. In Turkey, anyway- everyone else in the cafe and all the kids playing in the square were Turkish.
But it really was like holiday what with the weather and so on.

OK, lots of ing going on here.
first of all there was State of Play on BBC1 last night. Which apart from being absolutely fab gritty-British-drama, it has some very easy on the eye young men in it.
and now I have a new letch, who does not eclipse boy, but comes pretty close (and he'd make a cute hobbit)
sorry, if anyone has mentioned him before, he's a very young Scottish thing...
drum roll please for:
James McAvoy.
yaaayyyy!
yes - sad to note he was born in 1979. Bummer!
and when I got home from work, there was a nice big envelope from my friend in Chicago *waves to Sam, in case she's a lurker*
and inside? A nice massive promo poster for Pirates of the Carribean. Featuring some guy, some other guy, some girl and...
The Wonder That Is Orlando Bloom (heh heh heh)
yes, my One True Letc.. Love.
