OK any more requests for Party favourites post them here.
Just bear in mind I refuse point blank to play anything by Blacklace.

Yeah, I'd very much like (errh - there're two actually)
The Anniversary Waltz / Status Quo
(appropriate, I think -- and you do get so wonderfully thirsty since it's full throttle for about 11 mins)
Loch Lomond /Runrig
(just good, IMHO)
Party on!

Hmmm, saw them, did you? Not envious at all, why would you think that. Honestly, not!
No!
Well, yes...

We must have LOve Shack and the Time Warp........
Requests?
Dancing Ermine Posted Apr 27, 2000
Time warp... hmmm...
If we're going for audience participation we will need "Saturday Night" by Whigfield and "The Macarena"

Ok, I'm prepared to sacrifice a decent tune like the Time Warp if it keeps dance floor offences like those two out of the party......

Zebedee (still Pool God after all these years) Posted Apr 27, 2000
Oh, and we must have some Blues Brothers, too.

OK, do we have a rule stating that anyone suggesting anything by the Vengaboys shall be hung, drawn and quatered? And if not, why not?

Zebedee (still Pool God after all these years) Posted Apr 27, 2000
We need some good football tunes as well - 3 Lions or Vindaloo - it is a championship year, after all. Time to stir those passions again.....

Need I point out that
"...Thirty years of hurt, hasn't stoppped me dreaming..." is a
little out of date and
"...Thirty-fouryears of hurt, hasn't stoppped me dreaming..." doesn't have quite the same ring to it?
Requests?
Zebedee (still Pool God after all these years) Posted Apr 28, 2000
That's not the point and you know it.
Besides, for the France 98 update it was changed to "No more years of hurt, no more need for dreaming" - so we can use that one instead.

Can I have some Ricky Martin please? (That's just a personal request actually, but the music might get some of the youngsters up and dancing.)

Santragenius V Posted Apr 28, 2000
I'll happily back the Time Warp and Love Shack! I don't mind Ricky Martin -- I'll just go for a drink while it's on...
(that doesn't make me old, does it....? )

OK. I've got most of those in my DJ box. But if you think I'm going to play an England football song without laughing you have another thing coming. 'Back Home' 1970. ROFL. 'Three Lions' 1996 ROFL Then 1998
All the best lads.
