I'll be back in a few hours and see if there any more salonistas about. Doesn't seem fair to run with only a few of us here.

*back in the office for the start of the night shift*
I think my steel toecaps will slow me down, if the race is on.

to be first in the next conversation thread, David - and thereby earn yourself a FTTF Mug, which is a highly coveted drinking vessel........
but you knew that anyway.
You have an advantage over the rest of us with those wings of yours

...and if it's a running race, I can assure you that I am at a great disadvantage, as I can only hop in a most ungainly fashion.

Some of us have been very close to the FTTF, I have 3 or 4 AFTTF mugs. As the saying goes though, 2nd place is the 1st loser.

Santragenius V Posted Sep 25, 2005
Back after a weekend in Sweden that was spent doing a lot of nothing, like planned, but a different kind of doing nothing.
Saturday morning Mrs SG V's back went "OUCH" very suddenly and enough to take her unpleasantly close to fainting. So she spent the first half of Saturday lying very flat - from then on slowly improving so that we did eventually end up getting out for a walk today in the lovely warm September weather.
So I jumped in the car after breakfast and drove down to get some big Ipuprofen pills to help numb the back pain. And when I came back I went more or less straight into the bedroom to lie down in quiet and dark - migraine
Around 5pm I was kinda well enough to get up - and 12 and I did succeed in making waffles, one of the key success criteria of the weekend
(waffles on a wood-fired iron stove is HOT work, I can honestly say)
Today was fine - the Mrs is still sore but can move about on her own. And we had a good game of Ludo (is it called that in English?) and a lovely walk in lovely sunshine.
and distributed liberally!
