Oof, Kerr, like I can concentrate on grammar when discussing the vagaries of Affy's personal time-zone.

Hi, David B. You must be responding to Affy's call to action. The heroes and salonistas gathered in the CLI lobby (F32669?thread=584109) and have proceeded on to the Temporal Quantification Dome (F32669?thread=577372).
Take a cinnamon bun. You just missed the tea break in the lobby.

40+ posts since last posted, Overnight! A has a cough but no fever. Still, not sure if I should be sending her to school. If I don't, that means no going to fill out application for that job.

Agap- surely correct grammar is all the more important when dealing with a temporal problem- a mis-placed past tense copuld cause havoc*.
*That's havoc, not HAVOC. Causing HAVOC would presumbly involve reforming a 70s stunt team.

GDZ, that is a dilemma. The kids come first though, first last and always.

It's interesting you say that B- my parents raised me the opposite way- they always felt that I should fit into their life, rather than them rearrange their life around me. So (say) if I wanted a lift somewhere and it clashed with their plans, then it was me that had to make alternative arrangements. They figured that it was the best way to make sure I didn't grow up self-centred or spoilt. I *think* it worked...

Ah, there is a difference between safeguarding well-being and spoiling.
Children's health and well-being should come first last and always, but they should never *ever* think that they come ahead of anyone else (including the dog and the spiders) in the pecking order.
Ach, ignore me. What do I know?

More than you apparently think Ben. A did go to school, I could not justify keeping her home when she does not have a fever.

Nope they sit around discussing bras and how to get them off more like,
slips , "chemise" much better word, mind you never could understand the need for such a garment.
so when do we get round to suspenders ,the suspense is killing me,
any way whats wrong with Bikinnis tops instead of a bra kelli, lots of them in near enough sizes would have thought

No chance of getting a bikini top to fit at all ltp! Especially not a strapless one like I'll need for the wedding outfit - definitely needs to be a basque. They often come with suspenders attached but having never ever worn suspenders I can't really comment on them much... except to wonder how one stops the little bobbly attachment thingies showing through your skirt?
If pushed I expect I'd go for hold-ups, although I've never found any that actually hold up - don't want to be walking down the aisle whilst acutely aware that a stocking is making it's way southwards

OK. That's it. All the Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapters are going back for a refund. My wireless network works just great with those computers that don't require adapters, so it isn't the fault of the APs. I have no idea what we'll get instead. Deep breath. It's all right. We have 12 days to get it figured out. We can do this.
I am able to pick up a wireless, unprotected network from across the street with the Linksys cards, however.
A wedding on a beach sounds lovely.

Slut that I am, it rather amuses me when the little blobby things show through my skirt. Mind you, most skirts are robust enough for the little blobby things not to show. They do show under jeans though.
Markies make reasonable holdups, and so do E**ns.

Don't worry David B, it just happens that you arrived at the very end of the conversation. Each tends to last between 1000-1500 posts before things get unwieldy and the crockery needs washing up.
