Arl, there are enough lessons there for 8 or 9 TV series episodes. And they would all be "very special episodes."
Chris, that system sounds fine, with one major flaw. It's not a Mac , and no DVD/CD-RW combo? or DVD-R? IEEE 1394? Digital video camera?
I am supposed to be an authority figure, but I regularly shirk my duties. I think it makes me lovable.
And I didn't know I was supposed to dress my dog up for Halloween. I guess I better start looking for a costume, but there is always a white sheet.

I am surrounded by techie speak all day, I have learnt to let it wash over me. If it works, great, if not, I hit crtl+delete and then call hubby , my RL PC guru who hasn't been stumped by anything yet on a PC or network, but that's why IBM call him.
I can deal with PS2 on my own. Although I still do the girlie thing going round corners!

*tired but happy sigh*
Another day on the bleeding edge of high tech, Lincoln Station post office. We watched the HAZMAT video a couple of times while we were waiting for customers, and made rude comments about the acting. It was a beautiful warm day, so at lunch we sat outside on the benches along with the woman who's been running the museum next door, and chatted with passers-by. One woman said she is microwaving all her mail, because the microwave kills anthrax bacteria. Is this true?
I love reading braided backlog, where several conversations are going on at once, all without anybody interrupting anybody else. I just wish I could remember all the things I was intending to comment on as I read through.
Vincent Black Shadow will not be dressing up for Halloween. He won't even wear a collar -- managed to pull it off all by himself within 10 minutes.

Note to Lil... I finally put a harness style collar on my kitten. He rolled around for a day trying to get it off, but finally gave up and accepted it. Are they making you wear rubber gloves at the Post Office?

Well, it's wrong to dress up a dog who doesn't want to go along with the fun. Now my girls soon learn that people will go oooh and aaaaah over them and think, "I must be even cuter than usual, cool!" and get into the spirit of it. Trio of little hams, that's them.

I have not yet tried a collar with 'Talya. I thinkt hat the harness type is the best bet tho. I am waiting till she gets a bit bigger however.

Yep, 3 pugs. Actually, costuming a dog is a self-correcting problem, if the dog doesn't like it then the dog is out of it, faster than you can find your camera.
Now Ruppy, on the other hand, poses for a camera. She even has "looks" just like a supermodel. Our favorite costume was Mrs.Mac's first comunion dress, it fit the dog perfectly. Add the wings from an angel teddybear and a white cloth backdrop and we were ready for the cover of Vogue.
Floored my mother-in-law, "WHAT is that dog wearing?!!!"

Styx, nobody would dream of it, you handsome rat, you!
Mac, I think you ought to post pictures of your pugs in drag. Do you have a web page where you could put them up?
WM, no plastic gloves. The HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) video is being resurrected on account of most recent events.
Strange person in Lincoln: I want to post this package to Washington D.C.
Lil (following training in HAZMAT): Certainly sir! *Picks up parcel in both hands. Checks that destination and sender's addresses are clearly marked. Shakes parcel, listening for liquid, clinking glass or ticking timers* Does this parcel contain any hazardous materials? Body fluids, aerosols, radioactive waste?
SPiL: No, it's just some homemade cookies for my nephew in Congress.
Lil: *concerned* Very good, sir, but I see you have re-cycled a carton that was originally used to ship plutonium to Los Alamos Laboratory. I can tell by these warning stickers on the side. You have told me that the box contains cookies, but other postal clerks who receive this box will not know that.
SPiL: *disconcerted* Rip the labels off.
Lil: I'm sorry, I am not allowed to alter the labelling on a parcel. *reaches under counter and pulls out a humongous marker pen* But you can! Just be sure to completely obliterate the markers. Would you like any stamps or money orders today?

Oh, boy I feeling it already! I'm running my Live Action Role-Playing event Saturday night and I'm not scheduled to have my panic attack until at least Friday. I've been running games like this for 12 years and this is the earliest I've freaked! Now normally I'd be good with this as I follow the pesimist's creed (things that you worry about don't happen, so worry about everything). But if I'm getting freaked now what state will I be in when I get to the gaming convention? Eeeep!

Hey ho all! Been a wild week. I am now on the student evaluation committee for my department, and have been plowing through years of evaluations for two professors, writing 3 papers, and studying for a midterm. Oh, and we are supposed to have a garage sale on Saturday. Can you say just a bit nuts? I can...I am seriously considering sending myself out to play in traffic!
Well, well. How is Little Eats doing? I want to hear all about your first week as parents...once you get used to catnaps, the rest is great. Is your wife happy to see her feet again? I know I was!!!
