Just a quick heads-up for any that are interested (and are able to see it!)
Presented by Simon Fanshawe. This is something he wrote about it in The Guardian:

Oh I'll miss it as I'm already going to watch Sharpe... plus the digibox is on the tv downstairs and I don't think my mother will want to watch it

I just noticed two typos in this thread title, one of which is a tad unfortunate.
If you're still up, it's repeated at 12:25 (and as the snooker ah, the glorious red button) is proving quite exciting (honest, it is!) I'll probably be watching it (or at least recording it) then.
Ooh, look at all them brackets!

Drat I meant to watch this but I was watching Brokeback Mountain instead.

What did people think of this programme?

I live behind a hill and can't get freeview without paying for a satelite dish, unfortunately, so I missed it.
How're you doing, Rillington? How's Leeds?

Leeds ias bad as ever even though a couple of positive thigns have happened recently. Hardly Manchester though which is far more to my liking, which is where I go twice a month.

Glad to know that some positive things have been going on.
Did you see this programme, by the way? I did want to, and was annoyed that I couldn't. What did you think of it?

It seterotyped every gay man as pathetic little creatures with no depth with no counterbralance. In fact it pandered to every stereotype that heteros have of us.
The only thing worthwhile were a couple of interviews, one of which was with Graham Norton who said that he is told to act 'gay' and to camp it up so that heteorsexuals can laugh at the gay stereotype.

That's depressing about Graham Norton, not that he looks like he hates doing it, mind.
Fanshaw's gay though, isn't he?

Yes, Simon fanshawe is gay.
I got the impression that Graham Norton isn't that enamoured about being told to camp it up.

Well, you saw the programme and I didn't. Being told to camp it up would be pretty insulting, rather like someone telling me to be decorative. Its not that I don't want to look decorative, it is just that I don't want someone else to tell me to.
Hey ho.
