Well, the news column idea sort of negates my point about removing the Weekly Quotes page. I would be happy to give a link to Pinknews and/or have a page for feature articles as written by people using M2M2, but I couldn't be bothered to do it weekly!

I've been reading Pinknews pretty much every day and there's always something there. A relatively humorous synopsis shouldn't be too tricky (and not *exclusively* from Pinknews).

Ah, fair enough ... if you're willing to do it, then yeah, go ahead. I can create a page for you with both of us as authors - just in case I ever need to make some modifications to what you write. I'll still put in the general links to your news pages, though I'd also recommend you put links to individual news articles (just so we can read them along with your synopsis).

Pinknews is an excellent site. had not seen it before and reading back through the stories there is stuff which I hadn't known about before and I do avidly read the gay media.

just to let everyone know I am now officially a 'hootooer' as I believe is the term to use. It emans people can leave me messages etc whereas they couldn't before. Am still willing to write some stuff for m2m2 if required.

Your sexual orientation is as valid as our sexual orientation so no problem, IMO, with a link to your section.

What about transsexuals? There is some stuff here about transsexuals, is it worth us putting together something about that?

Right ... I've *finally* made a start in actually updating this place ... for instance, see the Current Campaigns page (A290756), which I think still needs some more info - if you have any suggestions on what issues I should cover, please let me know.

However, I've noticed something interesting - I'd not spotted that the "On Being A Gay Sportsperson" page had actually become an Edited Guide Entry (A837038). While I like the Edited entry and might refer to it somewhere (possibly the Links page?), is it now a bit out of date?

I know littl eof sport but reckon the entry could do with mention of The London Steelers Rugby Football club and London Titans 'Gay Friendly' Football Club.

I know next to nothing about either of them though!

I could mention Stonewall FC and the Manchester Village Spartans RUFC (who did try to recruit me once!) as well, just to give some examples of (amateur?) predominately gay sports teams who compete against other teams and chip away against homophobia in those games.

OK ... I've done all the basic stuff mentioned in this thread so far - including the Ask M2M2 page - and while I'll be continuing to add more stuff here and there, I now declare M2M2 to be well and truly updated!
