Welcome, brothers and sisters. Here you may confess your sins or discuss anything that is not related to actual labour.

"A weekend warrior maybe
A weekend warrior sometime
A weekend warrior maybe
You ain't that way any more..."
Well, of course I'm one!
Anyway, my sins....
I did some work on h2g2 today. I wrote an article and updated another. And I did some ACEing...
Actually, I found this place because of the ACEing I did...does that get me off the hook a little bit?

It seems to me that you had to do the ACEing. So long as you didn't ACE too much, or just had fun doing it, all is well.

Bless me, Big Evil Dan, for I have sinned...
My employers have offered me six months' wages to disappear and never come back... and... *sobs*... I actually had to THINK about it! I feel ashamed and dirty... can I ever be forgiven?

Oh, thank you! You've no idea what a relief that is!

Looks like you've had a blessing from a second end now!

Goodnight Mike! (Although it's actually 7PM and Friday where I am)

Why wasn't I informed that we were one of Peta's picks. That is cool. And I didn't have to do anything.
The Temple Of Weekendism
Mike A (snowblind) Posted Apr 17, 2000
Indeed you didn't. Because I was the one who told Peta about this page.
She appears to have started playing catch-up with the multitude of things I've posted for the Picks spot.

Well it is Tuesday, but I am experiencing my blessed "Spring Break" so I still manage to avoid the sinful w***. Do I get brownie points?
The Temple Of Weekendism
Archangel Big 'Evil' Dan Posted Apr 18, 2000
Better yet, you get plain old brownies. Here ya go, saint.

Hrm, out of the goodness of my heart and the total lack of anyone even suggesting it so far I will now put forth a mild bit of effort to define w*** for others so that they may not be fooled next time it sneaks up on them.
For those less expert at slacking the basic definition of w*** is something which requires at least minimal effort on your part and is either unpleasant to do, and/or was not something you would normaly choose to do.
There are further refinements to this depending largely on the ammount of caffine or other stimulants in your system at the time which could be summed up in a rather simple equation where we set E equal to the ammount of energy you posess at the time and D to the ammount of desire you have to do whatever it is, but it really is seeming like that would be more w*** than absolutely necessary so I will not be bothered to figure it out until D increases a significant ammount.
