Actually she ineffectually pokes at it with a big stick instead of whacking it upside its head. She also watches in terror. So in a way she does something. smiley - winkeye

Irving Washington - Gone Writing

"True love, is the most noble thing in the woild. Except maybe for a nice MLT, Mutton, Lettuce, and Tomato? When the mutton is nice and lean... but that's not what he said. He distinctly said "To blaaaaaive" and as we all know, "to blave" means "to bluff". So he was probably playing cards, and he cheated!"

"Liar! Liaaaaaaaaar!"

"Get back, Witch!"

"I'm not a witch, I'm your wife! And after what you just said, I'm not even sure I want to be that anymore!"

And if you all liked the Princess Bride, I suggest you all find a copy of the Bernadette Peters production of Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods" smiley - smiley

I love Buttercup simply because of her beautiful hair and clothes. I have always loved movies that have women in beautiful fancy dresses such as in this movie. I wish I could afford clothes like they get to wear. But I do have to admit that Buttercup's intellect is not exactly up to par with, say, an orange. She is a bit slow.

Irving Washington - Gone Writing

Think of the other characters she's played... I mean, Jenny from Forrest Gump isn't exactly the sharpest quill on the porcupine... smiley - smiley

Post 19

Princess Bride

yes, me too. Very sad story. But it has hope at the end, and that's the important thing to me about the end of a sad movie.
