Actually she ineffectually pokes at it with a big stick instead of whacking it upside its head. She also watches in terror. So in a way she does something.

But no one ever said Princess Buttercup was intelligent... ~grin~... andway if she didn't look so pretty and dumb... Wesley wouldn't look so handsome and smart...

Actualy i always prefered the spaniard.

I love Buttercup simply because of her beautiful hair and clothes. I have always loved movies that have women in beautiful fancy dresses such as in this movie. I wish I could afford clothes like they get to wear. But I do have to admit that Buttercup's intellect is not exactly up to par with, say, an orange. She is a bit slow.

Think of the other characters she's played... I mean, Jenny from Forrest Gump isn't exactly the sharpest quill on the porcupine...

yes, me too. Very sad story. But it has hope at the end, and that's the important thing to me about the end of a sad movie.
