My first thoughts on seeing this article was along the lines of "I'm not drinking urine no matter what h2g2 tells me"

Ah, but that is what Utah beer is in comparison to the beer from the rest of the USA> And you know what they say about that....

Is it Utah where not only do you have to be in a club but you have to bring your own hard alcohol too? Or is that Minnesota......

Good job Marv!
It's almost the same here in OK as in UT. Except we have public bars and they close at two. And we have more liquor stores. But if you want to drink good beer in the privacy of your own home, you had better get it before 9pm.
Have you seen the movie SLC Punk!? It have a good part in it about buying beer. It's a good movie anyway.

I never got to see that unfortunatley. I hear it is good. The bars are cool sometimes tho. THey just have to be careful. They cannot have more than 1 ounce of any one kind of booze in a mixed drink. This means that many of the popular drinks in the rest of the world are actually illegal. This makes some cause for concern. You cannot get some good stuff Well if you ever visit look me up and I will mix you a good one. MArv

Kamakasies! Now those are *scary* drinks. "Yes, bartender, I'd like a 12 ounce glass with one ounce each of your ten hardest alcohols please."

The most potent alcoholic drink I've ever known, the only one fit to wear my namesake, was in a place called 'The Test Tube Factory' in Sydney, NSW, Australia. This place has gorgeous, incredibly built waitresses walking about in skimpy nurses outfits with racks of test tubes and syringes. The syringes contain well-known fruity chick drinks, like Sex on the Beach. The test tubes, however, contain several shots of alcohol, all precisely poured in unmixing layers to form a Rainbow Shot. These are not tiny test tubes, either. Each shot is a carefully measured ounce, for uniformity in appearance, and although I can't remember exactly how many layers there are (in fact, much of that visit is completely lost to me), I can assure you that it was no less than seven, and possibly as many as ten. I had two test tubes, two syringes, and a beer, and was only saved from violent retching by the careful ministrations of my comrades, those who weren't in the hotel room restraining the other dude who managed to outdrink me. They'd had to actually carry him down the street, one at each limb, as he thrashed violently and cursed each of them in turn. I staggered along behind and cursed him back when my turn came.
