Why (and How) Americans React

How do Americans react to bashing of America? One of three easy-to-define ways.
1) Ignore it. Most of the time, we're so deluged with opinion polls, comentary, "news" (and real News), talk shows, editorials and so on that we look it in the face and say, "Warhol was right". We're desensitized, we have our own lives to live, and we frankly couldn't care less.
2) We shout at it. For, strangely, the same reasons that we ignore it. We've had so much of the negative that we feel the same patriotic urges that had our forefathers saying, "Ten Pounds for a box of tea! Blow that for a lark!" (The American dialect not having been invented yet, see.) Of course, we're not talking 150-percent tarrifs, here, but once you find an idea that works it gets out of control pretty quick. For example, this forum.
3) We shoot it. This is the illogical conclusion to shouting at it and is actually in our Constitution. According to Charlton Heston, at least. While most countries have delt with warfare for thousands of years and they know how to control their own people, Americans feel very proud, in fact, that we will let our people do pretty much anything they want. So who's to say violence to make your point is wrong? (This is sarcasm. Possibly even irony.)
I hope this clears some issues up.

Don't forget they also try to force other countries to import their poisond "food" products. Viz., beef and soya.

This really isn't How or Why Americans React. It's just another boring, pointless knee-jerk reaction, an oversimplified view in a complex world. Sigh, it makes me so depressed.

In respnse to the response that we americans react by exporting our poisoned "food" (beef, Big Macs, etc.)to unwilling countries, individuals in these countries must realize that americans are so productive that we cannot possibly consume all the poisoned food that we produce. Therefore, we must ship it to "foreign" countries, otherwise, the poisoned food would pile up to the point where we would no longer have any room to store our aerosol cans.

It's true we send our garbage vendors abroad, but market forces are the same there as everywhere. If people weren't buying it, it wouldn't be for sale.
