This is terribly offensive to me. I, of course am an American. The reason that it offends me is because it is totally true.

I'm a fellow american and it really is no ones business what we choose to do within our own borders. If we want to spend millions of dollars a year on chia pets and cheap plastic crap made in Asian countries, well, who is it harming? (And don't say the whole world --keep the environmental issues out of this!) Plus, if we wnat to spend all of our time watching court TV and the Monica Lewinsky business and shooting each other in the cities, well, why should people care? After all, WE don't spend all our time reading about the latest goings on in THEIR royal family! (oh, er... never mind!)

Hmm... nearly half of the things in the room I am sitting are cheap and plastic.
