They are the worst parts but the bit immediately before is nervewracking and right after is plain boring

...and today I found out that I' *have* to go on a visit to Sellafield...not that I'd really mind...it's only that...well...guess what...
Yep...it's the day our exam results come back...
Which means that other people are going to know *before* I do...and are going to have to ring me & tell me...

i find the most stressful part of exams is calming down your hysterical freinds and trying not to lose it comletely in the exam, in my english mocks i had a question on pie and was unable to answer properly because i was trying not to laugh. i have this thing about pie.
STRESS!!!
Eomando (it is it is it is 2 years now!!! 8-) ) Posted Apr 11, 2000
LOL
I've had that happen to me a few times... Not questions about pies...but in music, sometimes you have to listen to a piece which is just *so* funny that it's all you cna do not to laugh in the exam...

I just have amusing coincidences, one of my science GCSE papers had the same ID code as my candidate number. Naturally I did well in the exam

i also had a friend who actually wrote i am a fish all over his exam, it was amusing at the time

I heard an "apparently true" story about this guy in my school who thought that you got 1 mark for writing your name one the exam paper...and who then went on to write his name 100 times so he could get 100%...
It sounds far-fetched...but my friends know this guy...they were in his class... Still...I wasn't there, so I can't vouch for it...
STRESS!!!
Dancing Ermine Posted Apr 12, 2000
It isn't true that you get a mark for writing your name, I know someone who got 0% in one of his maths tests
STRESS!!!
Eomando (it is it is it is 2 years now!!! 8-) ) Posted Apr 13, 2000
Well, this guy didn't get anything either...
Hmm...I know someone who managed to mis-spell their name on their UCAS form...
STRESS!!!
Dancing Ermine Posted Apr 13, 2000
I know someone who had his form sent back three times because he missd out/put the wrong information on it

Wo'...that's unlucky...!

It would be quite easy to do for a lot of people I think, it's just usually we're so stressed about it thta we make sure every little detail is right and still fret we've made mistakes. Maybe I should put that into my entry on the subject
STRESS!!!
Eomando (it is it is it is 2 years now!!! 8-) ) Posted Apr 13, 2000
Perhaps you should...
Hmm...which is worse to fill in...the UCAS form...or the student loan form...OK...the UCAS form...
My student loan form was really easy compared to the other people in my schools...(I had to get a different one because I live in a different district-place or something)...and well...mine was a nice 4 pages...and theirs was over 10 pages...
I think they'd say they worried more over that than the UCAS form...and made more mistakes...
STRESS!!!
Dancing Ermine Posted Apr 13, 2000
The student loan one was a nightmare because you didn't have the information at hand to fill it in. Having to go to my parents to ask about their income wasn't a particularly comfortable situation. At least the UCAS one was fairly straightforward. Apart from the personal statement.

I hated writing that personal statement...*that* was a nightmare... I think I barely managed to get it all in the box... The student loan one was vague though...which I don't like...if they want to ask you something they should just damn well ask it...

I typed it which made things slightly easier to fit in
Muy student loan on blatantly came out with how much did you earn las t year? And how much is in your bank account? other investments? pension schemes? etc. It even required a photocopy of pay cheques from my parents.
