Hmm... So far the only thing I've caught from Greebo is her use of "..." ...rather than the "~grin~" and its variants she splashes about!
Something I notice in these conversations on h2g2 is in the use of "*asterisks*" for asides or stage directions. Elsewhere on the net "*" is more often used for emphasis in lieu of italics or underline. I tend to use a pseudo-code as in " Thinks someone is playing games here... " as may have been noticed. I don't recall being admonished for it though.
