Is there a ledgend about Boo Radley, or did the band just happen to come up with the same name....by some kind of fluke....?

I would assume they took the name as a literary reference. I came to the article because of my love for "To Kill a Mockingbird".

Not really in the same league, but Ned's Atomic Dustbin were named after summat in an episode of the Goon Show. I think...
