I'm back!!!
I went to Southampton - it's a great city. I'm thinking of living there...

Oh yes - I'd almost forgotten that.
But it's a great place to live - only 13 days to go!

until what?

Until the West Quay shopping centre opens in Southampton's city centre. And I literally mean the city centre. You can't get more centre than that.
All my time I've spent in Southampton has involved in being built. I wondered "will I finish my course before it's built or not?" when I first arrived. And in 2 weeks it opens.

So far, only 5 shops in Above Bar Street (the main road) have signs up saying they are closing down because they are moving into the shopping centre. I wonder how many shops will be empty this time next year?
