Oh, I was very warm when I arrived to my office. I overslept today and I had to run here in 4 minutes. Which I succeeded!
It's great to live so close to the w*rk.

Last time we tried to start of new thread, we ended up back here as Irving didn't want threads starting in his absence. So: Does anyone know whether Irving might return?

As I remember it, we started a Halloween thread, which wasn't very visited because several of the regulars didn't celebrate Halloween... that's why we gave it up...

Irv said something about not starting the new thread before he picks up the new name for the café. But he never did it. Irv has been gone before and I don't think we should close this place down or something only because Irv happens to have a RL.

I didn't mean to give the appearance of suggesting closing the café. That would be awful, as its got a totally different atmosphere to the atelier, and is much nicer to relax in sometimes.

I hope noone will close it down. I'd like to see it going on the way it is but I feel like a nice clean thread could be handy here. Lets see what Irv says about this...

i'm in Hampshire and it snowed last night! yippeeeeeeeeee!

though i spect you lucky lot who get snow wouldn't call it snow at all! it was about 5mm deep (in the places where it had actually settled)

Just a touch of snow today and then it turned to rain which later became blue sky and is not clear black sky.

Speaking of which if you go outside this evening and look east to south then you will see the moon beautifully suronded by Jupiter and Saturn. (even better if you go out tomorrow you'll see Jupiter eclipsed by the moon, not in UK though)

IIEM, do you have anything for a sore throat?

I saw only clouds.
Whenever anything happens in the sky It's cloudy, I know. I missed all the leonides, perseides, whatever. Well, I have seen northern lights once this year.
