h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'd had the idea that it might be good if we as Christians had an article explaininbg what Christianity is all about, what we believe and why, etc.

There's so much misunderstanding in the world in general that it might help to give our side of things in a real and non-gibberish/cultish way.

Some of you are aware of this article: A213247. It's not very nice and makes some wild claims about Christianity's irrelevence, fictional status and apparent irregularities. Can we sit by and not, in a loving way, counter the claims here?

What do you all think?

An article, or perhaps several, dealing with Christianity would be a good idea. I don't know whether you intend to specifically refute the article you linked to, but I don't think that would be a great idea. You'd be better off writing something more general in the hope of getting it into the Edited Guide.

As I said on the other convo, I'll do some nutting out, but I am not the best person to write anything specific, I tend to get a bit sarcastic and wordy...

A collaborative entry would be excellent!

Well not sure the author of that article would take too kindly to us turning round and deliberately bashing his article/him.

Think it'd be better to do a general Christianity one or several. Wouldn't look good either if we were claiming to be loving and going out being really horrible.

Ooo, are there any real-meaning-of-Easter entries? Could have an Easter entry, a Christmas entry, and ones on love, practices etc.
