Just a quick congrats on a job well done. I live in Toronto, meaning I'm no expert, but it all sounds about right. Great stuff.
I love Quebec, or what little I know of the place, having spent an intense six weeks in language immersion there many years ago. My French is still terrible, but I well remember the impression I came away with of the Quebec people, that they were generally a fun-loving people who seemed to be having a much better time than anyone I knew in English Canada. My years in Toronto since then (a town known for its cool, reserved citizenry) have only strengthened this opinion.
But definitely, go in summer. Brrrr.
