A Conversation for Unfinished Business of the Century
Well...
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 6, 1999
Sounds likes something my grandfather would have given me. He was a surgeon, you see...
BTW, this forum died a while ago. Because it takes forever to load (there's a link above to where it moved to, a forum that also died, and in turn has a link to another forum that is dying more for lack of interest than for the amount of time it takes to load...

He actually tried to play it correctly when on tour with Paul Simon this summer -- they did a duet of Sounds of Silence, and Dylan somehow convinced Simon to let him play harmonica in it, but I think Simon forced him to actually learn some technique...

It was probably accidental. Monkeys and Shakespeare. He was bound to hit the right note eventually.

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 8, 1999
I'm inclined to agree with the improbablility drive theory -- (I'd call you by name, but in a day or so this post would make even less sense than it does now) -- because he hit right notes in a consecutive fashion... mind you, they were rather strident...

Improbability Drive can do a lot of strange things (like make me keep the same name for a week! but that probably won't happen).
Well...3 enigmatic holes
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 8, 1999
Yes, it probably won't...

IAM Posted Feb 25, 2000
I'm kinda a bit late on this one, but after reading the whole of this forum I see that this cult has gone through all the stages that christianity ( ) went through, in about 8 weeks:-
Conception
Birth
Gathering Of Followers
Defining the Rules
Suspiscion
Disagreement
Fraction
and Disinterest
Shame. I was particularly interested in the californian babes.

.........and yet we still survive in a bunker hollowed out with bare hands from the unforgiving soil of Northamptonshire with only the Californians feeding us grapes for company....
'tis a sad pass.

I'm still not happy about the bikini clad Californian babes.

The Californians are feminists too.
And as Righteous Knights, we wholeheartedly endorse their right to wear the clothing they feel most comfortable in.
In this case, the vetements of their native California....
